The property is centrally located in one of the most social and hip areas of Buenos Aires. But what makes this property special is its owner, Carla, and her staff. Upon arrival, once you are properly settled, she will sit you down and give you the lay of the land. She will pull out maps to give you and highlight...

This B&B was pleasant enough - rooms were fine, staff friendly, location superb. My problem with this place is the exchange rate charged by the hotel. While it appears good value on the various websites (shown in USD), the owner will ask you to pay cash in pesos which, when her own exchange rate is applied, equates to 15% more...

Baires Soho is great value for money in Buenos Aires, the location is perfect, 10 mins walk to a metro station, Palermo Soho is great for bars and restaurants, and Plaza Serrano is only 5 mins walk. Carla was very helpful, and speaks good English, all the staff are friendly and make you feel very welcome. I had a nice...

if you are looking for somewhere cheap, cheerful and centrally located in Palermo then this place ticks all of the boxes. Having arrived off a gruelling flight from the UK, we were warmly welcomed with drinks and information about the local area. The location is perfect for exploring not only the Palermo district but way beyond given its proximity to...

I highly recommend this hotel / hostel!! It is newly renovated and provides the perfect quiet spot right in the middle of the best part of Palermo SoHo. I booked a room for 2 weeks right when I arrived in Buenos Aires and was searching for a long-term apartment, and I am so happy I did. I was tempted at...

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights for part of our honeymoon. The house is gorgeous with a rustic and cozy feel, and the breakfast is wonderful and true to Buenos Aires cuisine. Natalia was wonderful and helped us very much throughout our stay and encouraged us to contact her after we left the B & B if...

What a wonderful place to stay in Buenos Aires ! I am a solo female traveler, who doesn't speak a word Spanish... but, Carla and Natalia the two young owners of the B&B made my visit to BA so special. They have opened the place about 2 months ago, and they run it perfectly. A great small B&B, in the...

We stayed twice in this small B&B in the best room with two balconies to internal courtyards. It is located in the safe Palermo area with a large number of good bars/restaurants nearby. Easy access to downtown. Good free WiFi. Staff were pleasant with good English, and overall first impressions are good. BUT, the bathroom was very small, barely adequate...

My husband and I, along with our grown daughter stayed here in Dec, 2009. Our room upstairs was wonderful, with two balconies & a/c (important there in the summer). The staff were wonderful. The continental breakfast great. The room was an excellent value given its location. We would definitely recommend Bed & Baires. But: Our daughter stayed in a room...

The floors were dirty, the toilet handle was broken in our bathroom and the sink handle in the main bathroom was broken but no one started to repair them while we were there. Breakfast was coffee, toast and a roll, very plain. Times for breakfast changed on the weekend but no one informs the guests. At times the communication with...

Staying in Palermo

Neighbourhood Profile
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.

“only 5 rooms, if you are a light sleeper get the back room, no noise from the street at night. Some times during the weekend people can make some noise while walk late at night. Ask the owners all the information u want, they will answer you and check it for you. Take the taxi to the airport and go there at least 3 hours before your departure, it is a crazy airport....remember in Argentina- time is no time ! Go to this B&B, GREAT PLACE , BEST LOCATION, BEST PRICE !”
