I stayed at Milhouse Avenue during my time in Buenos Aires. In general, the place is ok. The rooms are big enough, although quite humid and it's loud in the night. You are forced to use their sheets, which is good in my opinion. The lockers are spacious and of steel grid, that added to the higien I guess. The... More

Rooms were good (booked a room for 3), but I was expecting more from the staff. The day staff was ok, but the night staff was just awful. I had to ask some quick questions before my check out the next day, and when I got to the front desk, the two receptionists were having dinner, and there was nobody... More

I stayed here for one week and I had a fantastic time! Fer checked me in and gave me lots of information about the hostel and things going on around the city, she was very helpful. There was always something different to do every day at the hostel like walking tours or a BBQ on the rooftop. The parties each... More

I´ve been in several hostels in US, South America and Europe. So, definitely I can say that this is one of the best of them. Very friendly staff, cheap, even for Brazilians, comfortable and clean. The rooms have big lockers and their own bathrooms. The best part is activities all day long, visit to touristic paces and in the hostel... More

Great place to stay for a few days, with nice clean rooms. The hostel is in a beautiful building. The rooms got cleaned every morning and towels replaced. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Although this is a party hostel, we were on the 5th floor and managed to get plenty to sleep without being disturbed. Not sure if... More

The hostel is located in a perfect place with everything in walking distance from restaurants, bus stops, metros etc. The common area, bar, T.V room and kitchen are all perfect. I couldn't have asked for more. Rooms are clean but the beds aren't the most comfortable. The food of the day is good value as you can add a beer... More

Nice and clean rooms, good breakfast and helpful staff. The kitchen has enough tools. We spent a few days in the hostel, it has a good location to visit the city. We got free tango lessons which was a great opportunity and much fun!

Staying in Montserrat

Neighbourhood Profile
Montserrat
As part of the historic quarter of Buenos Aires, Montserrat is defined by the historical events that took place there and the landmarks that have stood the test of time. The Plaza de Mayo is at the center of this connection to history: countless public demonstrations have passed through this square, going back to the May Revolution of 1810. Walking the streets of Montserrat allows us to imagine what Buenos Aires may have looked like in the past: the Cabildo takes us back to the late 16th century, while the Palacio Barolo and the traditional cafés carry us to the early 20th. Nowadays, the neighbourhood is inundated every day by office workers, buses, and taxis; still, the cobblestones, narrow sidewalks, and subway stations from the 1910s remind us that we are surrounded by history everywhere we look.
