The hotel has a good location, one block to Florida Avenue. The room was spacious and confortable but the bathroom needs a reconditioning. Because near the hotel was a road work it was a little bit noise. Breakfast was very good. The staff at the reception was helpful and amiable.

Checked into Pulitzer Hotel for a couple of days. Service was professional. Front desk staff spoke English. Everything about the hotel was tired/old. The bed was somewhat okay but one side of the double bed didn't have much support. Showing its age too. When I was there on a business trip (March 2017), there was a big roadwork happening. The...

If you need a hotel with friendly front office staff, nice rooms, good breakfast, a great Skybar and close by Avenida Florida ... this is it! They have a restaurant in the hotel with excellent food and a good selection of food on the menu. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from within walking distance.

There are better choices around. This place is fine if you have a reason to be at that location and you get a very cheap room. It's downtown, which doesn't mean you are in the BA equivalent of Manhatten, you're amongst many cheap stores and amongst a ''variety' of people. If it's style and culture you want to sample, head...

Two members of my family were arriving to BA by cruise liner, and they needed four nights downtown in BA. Since I live here, I knew that the Pulitzer was a good option for Jankee tourists. So, I booked it online via a travel website. All went very well, and my 87 year old madre really enjoyed the breakfast and...

Great terrace to share a happy hour in downtown, you have to arrive early near 6pm to see the sunset and find a table to seat. The music is great, perfect way to finish the evening. Its's expensive, and the service a little bit slow. Good place for a chilling after office, and packed after 7,30, the tables are really...

A very nice friendly hotel in a good position in BA. Rooms were nice (with a bath bring your own plug). Will look after luggage on leaving day. We arrived at approx 9am and they made every effort to get a room ready for us earlier than check in time which we appreciated. We had to wait a short time...

Good hotel in a central location. Good hotel in a central location. Beautiful spacious rooms in Artdeco style. Small pool with a terrace for sunbathing. Negative is the gym. Unfortunately only treadmill and ergometer. Breakfast is good.

We have stayed here before and chose this lovely hotel again because of its excellent location. We enjoyed this visit even more - beautiful rooms, nice and quiet, very helpful staff, a good breakfast. We had previously found the room too hot, but this time we enjoyed really efficient aircon. This is definitely our hotel of choice for future visits...

Staying in Retiro

Neighbourhood Profile
Retiro
Exquisite palaces and luxurious apartment buildings combine with art galleries and exclusive boutiques to make Retiro the perfect spot for those who enjoy sophistication. However, the non-stop foot traffic to and from Retiro train and bus terminals, accompanied by the myriad of trucks leaving and arriving at the port, mean this neighbourhood is never truly at rest. One minute you are walking down a street dotted with ornate mansions and luxurious shop windows and the next you find yourself surrounded by a sea of people racing to catch their train or bus. It is this juxtaposition of never-ending comings and goings and quiet, elegant luxury that defines Retiro, as well as Buenos Aires, a city where sharp contrasts are all around.
