I stayed 2 nights and the room and the service were impeccable! The chef was helpful and fun. Had an incredible dinner there as well. The room and bed were extremely comfortable and beautiful. We had an early flight the next morning so the chef (Edward) brought all 4 couples a breakfast to their rooms that night for the next...

Fierro lives up to its reviews. Due to difficulty getting Argentine peso and its fluctuating rate, the hotel arranged for our pickup at a meeting point upon exiting customs and found my name up in lights on their board. Very easy and organized travelling from airport to hotel and $65.00 USD was charged to our account. Great sleep, comfy beds,...

We stayed only 1 night at the end of our 2 week trip to Argentina, but wish it could have been longer. The hotel is in a great location, and our room was quiet. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the room was large and modern. We were able to leave our large suitcases at the hotel for our last...

This is a unique hotel - small, excellent restaurant, great service. Don't let the funky front door fool you - the rooms are huge and well laid out, the restaurant has a nice outdoor seating area. Staff were extremely helpful. Fun neighborhood.

Great boutique hotel! I've been visiting Argentina 1 to 2 times a year the last 4 years for fly fishing, wine tasting, cooking classes, horse back riding and hunting. I've stayed in a couple of the bigger hotels in the past. Just stayed 2 nights at the Fierro this month before heading down to Patagonia, and it was perfect!!! Spacious,...

I booked this hotel for my husband and 3 friends who needed a stop over hotel in Buenos Aires as they were travelling onwards to Cordoba. They have stayed here previously and enjoyed the hotel very much. The rooms are very comfortable and have everything you need. What makes this hotel stand out is the helpfulness of the staff. They...

Spacious rooms, extremely helpful staff in a country where non-Spanish speakers can use that assistance, a lovely restaurant for breakfast and dinner. What more could one ask for? Maybe a few blocks closer to Palermo Soho (which is a bit livelier than Palermo Hollywood), but it's still quite walkable. Much superior to staying in central area that gets dead at...

Had 3 nights here in Feb 2015 before setting off on a slightly less 'luxurious' 9 day tour up to Rio, so we were keen to spoil ourselves. We were not left disappointed! Rooms were fabulous. Clean, fresh bottled water topped up daily, air con and wifi all faultless. Pool on the top was fab, but will get "busy" at...

My first time in Bueons Aires, and stayed at Fierro Hotel. The hotel is located in the trendy cool area of Palermo, a great place to hang out and for a bite to eat The service was excellent, and the staff were helpful and friendly. And the restaurant served excellent breakfast and dinner, just 5 stars all the way. Definitely...

Staying in Palermo

Neighbourhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
