We were overwhelmed by all the possibilities of hotels in BA and wanted a truly Argentinian experience; well we found it@ The Duque! We wrote from Canada & received an immediate reply. From that moment the exceptional service offered by the entire staff was evident and it never waivered. We had to stay elsewhere the first 2 nights but felt...

Our first trip to Buenos Aires and the Duque Hotel was just what we needed. A nice small friendly hotel, quite conveniently located to the Palermo area of the city. Great pampered home away from home. Staff made sure we had the best BA experience - including finding us a great affordable Tango show and guide and tickets to a Bocca Juniors game (unforgettable in so many ways). We spent 5 days and will be back for more. Backyard oasis nice after long day of sight seeing. Stay here.

Staying in Palermo

Neighbourhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
