Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A fabulous gem in Palermo. Comfortable and cosy. All of the staff went out of their way to help and make my stay wonderful. I’d highly recommend! If you’re looking for somewhere near by to eat, Moshu Treehouse is a quirky, very lovely place. It’s only a few minutes walk away!

Hotel's Favourite
I cannot overstate how absolutely great this hotel and staff was. I have traveled worldwide and this is one of the better hotel experiences I've had. A comfortable room with plenty of amenities. The hotel also has a wonderful breakfast, coffee all day, a pool, and a spa. The staff went out of their way to provide information and schedule taxis when needed. A special thank you to Ricardo who actually leant me his subway card while I stayed there. The Hotel is close to a subway station, plenty of restaurants and cafes, pharmacies, and food markets. An absolute wonderful experience all the way around and I highly recommend. For those of you that are very light sleepers, the hotel may be a little noisy for your likes from street traffic. But it was no worse than any other large city. I personally had no problems from what little noise there was. I was able to sleep comfortably and uninterrupted all night long.

While in Buenos Aires, we stayed at The Duque Hotel for 5 nights. This historical charming hotel is located on a quiet tree-line street in a great area, and it is close to many wonderful bars and restaurants. Our room was clean, spacious and very pleasant with a big comfortable bed. I also enjoyed relaxing in the pretty garden pool area and the two lounge areas. The breakfast was great with a nice assortment of breads and pastries, fruit, lunch meats, yogurts and cereals, and much more. there was a nice coffee machine that made different types of coffee (available 24 hours), and eggs were made to order. The building felt very safe, The door was always locked nut there was someone at the desk 24 hours to quickly buzz you in.This older building had many modern conveniences including plenty of international outlets, charging ports, and an easy to use electronic safe. I also loved that I could exchange money right there at the front desk. I would just exchange what I needed every couple of days. Easy Uber pick-up in front of the hotel. All of the the staff, including housekeeping, the breakfast ladies, and the front desk were very friendly and helpful. The front desk spoke excellent English and were always very accommodating. They will help you with restaurants, directions, scheduling tours or whatever else you might need. They helped me to get Buquebus ferry tickets. We very much enjoyed our stay here, and I am sure you will too. Thank you for your warm hospitality!

Excellent service by the front desk who arranged taxis, recommended and booked restaurants and tango shows and suggested the best way to visit La Boca. Quiet place to stay. Walkable to SUBTE metro system. Many leafy shaded streets with shops and restaurants nearby in SOHO Palermo. Extensive breakfast options including eggs to order. Comfortable beds. Deluxe rooms larger than standard. We stayed here 4 years ago and were happy to return.

This cute boutique hotel was right in the heart of the action in Buenos Aires's Palermo neighborhood. I was so glad we stayed here rather than in the downtown area. It is bursting with restaurants and wine bars, and the hotel is a short distance away. Also the staff was so friendly. We chatted with them in the sometimes lengthy wait for taxi service, and they were always helpful and full of good recommendation. I also enjoyed the breakfast provided by the hotel.

Such a romantic stay, the staff treats us like royalty, and the establishment is super clean! The hospitality from the front desk’s staff is genuinely easy and thoughtful. They even assisted us with money exchanges, and function as our travel concierge.

Incredibly helpful and fun staff, with useful advice about the city, attractions, tips and tricks and recommendations. It was a great location and a comfortable room. My only criticism, the sauna could be hotter!

Booked this for my mother and father in law and they stayed here for a total of six nights. They found the location to be great, the beds to be comfortable and the water pressure very good. They said that the staff was very friendly, and it was helpful to them that they spoke English. They enjoyed sitting in the garden enjoying coffee and liked how they helped them set up a taxi to the airport.

We loved everything about this hotel! It usually takes me a couple of days to get used to a hotel room, but at Duque, everything was so clean and comfortable, that it did not feel like a strange hotel room. I also really liked that they had a 24hr reception. It felt really safe. The staff were amazing. Cannot fault anyone. From the receptionist (who were extremely knowledgeable, friendly and helpful) to the cleaning staff (who were extremely polite and friendly) to the kitchen staff (who were just as lovely and made the best scrambled eggs). I highly recommend this hotel. The location was perfect. Palermo is a beautiful and large neighbourhood with lots to do. Thanks to the hotel we also visited the most romantic and cozy Argentine restaurant and also had the best night at the tango show, all of which the hotel staff booked for me ahead of our arrival. They also helped me with names of good argentine wines and told me where to go to get the best wines! Thank you to the staff at Duque Hotel for the most wonderful stay. Cannot fault this hotel and the staff. Thank you to all the reception staff who always took the time to talk to us and give great advice. Marcela and Benjamin.
