Wonderful staff and ensuite room. Good wifi. Amazing view from lounge/restaurant. Good free breakfast and there were cooked dinners available that were delicious and cheap. Try the peppered steak! All in all, amazing value for money! Only recommendation for the hostel is for the music...More
I stayed here in July, and I enjoyed my time. The staff makes it easy to go out and see and explore Buenos Aires. You can easily meet people and do the activities the hostel recommends. Went to a really cool Milonga with some fun...More
Well, this place is sure clean, comfortable and has great staff. Not so good common kitchen, quite poorly equipped and all over a feeling of a cheap but very good hotel. The problem with this place if you are an experienced traveller is that it...More
We had an awesome stay at this hostel. It has everything you would expect from a hostel with great English speaking reception, a kitchen for guests to use and wifi etc. The room was a good size, quiet and had consistent hot water.
Staff went above and beyond to help you with whatever you needed. They will organise bus tickets, tours, and they even rang our airline to locate our missed bags. Free breakfast and a cool little hang out area in the basement. Would highly recommend this...More

Characterized by cobblestones and narrow streets, San Telmo is defined by the tango, the dance that made Buenos Aires world-famous. Tango is a fusion of many different cultures: a true child of immigration, much like the city itself. Nowadays, it comes alive after dark in the milongas (dance parties) attended by both locals and visitors alike, who dance until the wee hours of the morning. During the day, the antique
shops and classic cafés and bars around Plaza Dorrego dominate the scene. The emblematic Bar Plaza Dorrego, with its green awnings, checkered tile floors, and wooden interiors, takes you back in time the moment you step inside. For true porteño traditions, San Telmo is the place to be.

I do not speak Spanish either but had no trouble speaking English . I came from the airport by a bus/ taxi. Reasonably priced. I recommend you send an email to the hostel with your questions as they were very responsive... More
