The room was horrendous, paint peeling, no hot water, moguls in the corners of the room. We stayed for 7hrs (between flights) and it was 7hrs too long. A leaking roof in the hallway and noise from reception (no sound proofing as doors had no seal) meant a very sleepless 7hrs to which we should have just slept in the...

We stayed here for the last few nights of a three week holiday in Argentina. Palermo is a great area to stay in with a wide choice of restaurants, bars and shops but sadly, we were extremely disappointed with our room. We had booked an executive king early and asked for a special room as we were celebrating two special...

The hotel is extremely noisy - both from the acoustics (lots of echoes and old doors) so you can hear everything but it is also impossible to actually sleep here due to the rubbish windows which let in all the traffic noise and people partying until 6/7am. I had to be up at 7 for a flight so I wasn't...

We stayed at Blue Soho Hotel for one night in February 2016. Most of the rooms open onto a central corridor and as the building is in the middle of a block, most rooms don't have huge windows with lots of natural light. That said, the room was perfectly nice for our short stay, but I wouldn't necessarily stay more...

In the middle of heart of palermo soho! Staff very efficient and amable. Breakfast is just ok Tha bamboo room is ok for a single or couple, but there's no window. The rate is very good considering the location and the rate around.

The hotel is located in a very special part of Palermo, where you can find nice restaurants, bars and whatnot just by strolling around the area nearby, besides being just a 10-minute (and rather pleasant) walk away from the Subte. Service was superb and, although I mostly went to the hotel late at night to sleep, everyone was really attentive...

great location in Palermo with tons of restaurants, bars, and shops around. There's a starbucks and an ATM that accepts Canadian bank cards right around the corner which was a plus since no ATMs would take our cards other than the HSBC. Good variety for the continental breakfast, rooms have nice décor but you can tell it's a little old...

Blue Soho is a good option for those looking for a boutique hotel at a great location. We walked almost everywhere, and the Subte station is a few blocks away. We also enjoyed the fresh local pastries and coffee offered for breakfast. Delicious! Our room/bathroom could use some upkeep, but I'm not surprised to feel this way in old converted...

This was our first time in BA and the front desk clerk (Luciano) was extremely friendly and helpful in giving us directions around the neighborhood, tips on where to exchange money, and anything else we needed. The neighborhood has lots of cool shops and bars and is fun to walk around. Room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay...

A quaint hotel in the palermo neighborhood that is more like a bed and breakfast. The service was like visiting relatives. The desk person offered to loan me some money when we first arrived and were short on cash. The location is surrounded by boutique shops and restaurants and is near the core parks of the city.

Staying in Palermo

Neighbourhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
