My husband and I just ended a great 4 night stay at Abode. It was the perfect place to base ourselves while in BA. There are so many choices of accommodations in this large city, that it can be very overwhelming trying to make the right decision! I did not want to stay in a big hotel or highrise. I...

We stayed 3 nights and then another night on the way home to the UK and it was just perfect! Orlando couldn't be more helpful (and efficient) both before and during our stay and his taxi driver was great. The rooms were all lovely (with fluffy towels!) and the rooftop terrace ideal for breakfast and relaxing in the sun. Nice...

My husband and I just spent a week at Abode while visiting our daughter in Buenos Aires. What a find! Abode is situated toward the quieter side of Palermo, yet just a few blocks from restaurants, shops, bars. We walked, cabbed and took the Subte to explore B.A., all of which are easy to access in Palermo. At Adobe, the...

I stayed as a solo female traveller at Abode in November 2016 for three nights. It was just the perfect accommodation experience for me - Orlando was ever so responsive and helpful on the emails in the weeks leading up to my stay, and infinitely more so while I was there. He made me feel completely at ease, and was...

We stayed just one night at Abode, but it was memorable and helpful for the rest of our stay in BA. Orlando arranged for us to be collected from the airport, gave us a great welcome and importantly provided lots of excellent tips for places to eat, visit etc - which we followed up, and which were all great. Even...

Our host was very accommodating and gave excellent advice on places to visit and things to do. The room was large with good storage, and the bathroom was roomy with an excellent shower. Breakfasts were very well cooked, and our host went out special to get foods we like at breakfast. Very good value.

Abode, ran by Orlando, is located in a lively area full of bars, restaurants and shops with a money exchange bureau close by and easy (and cheap) public transport. Orlando is a fabulous host, friendly and extremely helpful, he really shows he wants his guests to have a great time. He serves a plentiful and fresh breakfast every day and...

Great place in Palermo, very well situated for the subway and restaurants. Accommodation was great and spacious and breakfasts were far superior to some of the reviews I have read - eggs were on offer every day. What was really amazing was the warm welcome from a perfect host who went far beyond our expectations. With his Eurpean background and...

Lovely bed and breakfast in Palermo, BA. Location is great and price is reasonable. Orlando is a warm and welcoming host who really makes time for his guests. Breakfasts on the roof each morning were long and lazy, in the best possible way; we found ourselves talking to the other guests for ages and had to remind ourselves to go...

My wife and I chose the Adobe for one reason, its high ranking on Trip Advisor. We were pleased to experience that reputation. First, it is located in, I think, the best part of Buenos Aires. Palermo Soho is a good location for its many shops, restaurants, wide streets with tall trees on each side of the streets. It was...

Staying in Palermo

Neighbourhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
