I spent a few days in Buenos Aires with my wife and stayed at The Glu Hotel in Palermo Soho. The service from the team (Carolina, Alejandra, Diego, Mayumi, y Leandro) is simply outstanding. I had the chance to compare it with the one from a larger well known hotel in Recoleta days after, and there is no point of... More

I found this nice boutique restaurant based on the trip advisor reviews. I booked a Luxe suite for 5 night, and the room was exactly as described, large, hell, quite with a small balcony where my breakfast was served. The place is perfect, with a lot of restaurants and shopping stores in walking distance. The stuff was great! Starting with... More

Alejandra and Mayumi as the front desk personnel are superb. The location was great and centrally located so it was easy to get around by foot and ample access to eateries and taxi's. It was a great vacation hotel for a english speaking foreigner first visiting BA.

This is a sweet hotel. Quiet, yet in a popular night spot area. A tourist will never starve here as one only has to walk a short block to eat with locals. Lovely room. But the distinguishing feature is the customer service. Alejandra and Mayumi as the front desk personnel are superb. This hotel has not become jaded and does... More

First visit to BA and we were very pleasantly surprised by this fantastic Boutique hotel with only 11 rooms. Service was amazing! The people at the front desk were extremely helpful in giving us suggestions in and around the city, organizing a tour for us, and spoke excellent English. Coffee was sent up to our room in the morning when... More

From the moment we arrived, coffee & refreshment were offered while we were made comfortable at check-in. Friendly, courteous help from each person if asked and everyone made perfect suggestions for everything from the best local shopping and coffee shops to intimate restaurants & parks (in Palermo and throughout the city too!). Helpful maps to help find our way, cabs... More

My wife and I stayed here the 2nd week of October. We chose this place after doing some research on TripAdvisor and Expedia and reading the reviews. This hotel sits in the perfect location between the neighborhoods called Palermo-Soho and Hollywood. There are so many highly rated restaurants, bars, and shops within a 10 minutes walk. The entire hotel staff... More

The staff at the hotel were tremendously helpful: available at all hours of the day to provide us with information. The location in Palermo SoHo was perfect: close to plenty of awesome restaurants, bars and shopping.

The Glu Hotel is clean, cozy, and well-located - and all for a fantastic price. What's really special, though, is the incredible staff who were genuinely interested in helping us have the best possible trip. They gave us amazing restaurant recommendations, assisted with our travel plans (we decided to fly up to Porto Iguazu), and even helped us find the... More

Buenos Aires is an amazing place to explore, and with so many choices it was nice to have been with the Glu Hotel. The hotel staff spent so much time individually walking you through the different things to do in the city that you felt individually catered to. They spent so much time and attention to your needs, honestly one... More

Staying in Palermo

Neighbourhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
