I have been a frequent visitor to Koycegiz and every time I have chosen to stay Fulya Pension. It is a family run, clean pansiyon, with a good view and proximity (about 30m) to the lake. Offers an excellent breakfast, and meals if you order in advance to your taste and choice. You will also get access to boat trips, which are run locally and all kinds of day trips to neighbouring locations. Koycegiz, because of is location makes it an ideal place to make trips Marmaris, Fethiye, Bodrum, Gokova and return back to the cool, quiet surroundings of Koycegiz. The boat trips from Koycegiz to Dalyan beach, is a must do if you are planning to stay around for a few days or more. Cannot recommend enough both Koycegiz and Fulya Pansiyon. Have a great time.
It's a good job we were not budget travellers with limited resources. We rocked up in this tiny town with limited transport links and few alternative hotels of equivalent cost, having reserved a double room through Hostel Bookers. On arrival the man in charge snatched my booking confirmation out of my hands very aggressively when I tried to show him the cost of the room we booked. He insisted that was the cost for one person and we had to pay double despite the booking reservation clearly saying the cost we booked at was for 2 people. I snatched the reservation details back. Rude pig. We then left. Fortunately we arrived in a hire carand were less than 2 hours from our trip base so we did not have to be highjacked by the unexpected price rise and just went home instead. Disappointing to not have been able to explore the place fully though. Hostel Bookers not bothered when I told them. No response received and they kept my deposit paid for the room. Beware kids. Maybe try a service that does not drop you right in it having promised you they won't (see the website banner!). …
Very Good clean basic accomadation. Good shower, comfy bed, quiet, nice Turkish breakfast. Fly wire on windows so able to open windows. Koycegiz is a beautiful quiet area with surprisingly very few mosquitos.ie we saw NO mosquitos in our 2day stay which is a huge plus to an area for us. Very good inexpensive restaurants around. We hope to go again.
Stayed here for 2 nights whilst travelling in Turkey. It was the cleanest place that i stayed whilst in Turkey. Balcony and great aircon. Room was a little small, but for 2 nights that was ok. The team here were very pleasant and even drove us to bus stop on check out. Breakfast served each morning, either on balcony or garden, fresh and tasty. Wifi was good too.
