After spending 3 days here last year we returned for what for us was a special weeks holiday. Owner is a lovely man, very helpful. Basic style room but all you needed while on holiday. Room cleaned regularly (if you remembered to leave your key behind!), comfortable bed, shower/toilet and balcony. TV and air conditioning. Had a couple of light evening meals there but had Turkish breakfast included in the price. Couple of minutes walk to lakeside (you can see it from the top balcony) and towards "beach" end of promenade. Having stayed in Dalyan for the last 8 years (returning later in the year to there) felt more relaxed and chilled, the food was more reasonably priced, the people were friendly and not pushy, and we could sit with a drink and no noisy bars in sight - lovely that all the music we heard from any of the hotels/restaurants was Turkish. Lovely Monday market held there too. Seriously considering doing this again next year in June due to the abundant wildlife and plants in flower which are usually half dead in September!…
firstly u need to visit DALYAN beach for this i recommend you to spend 1 or 2 nights in KOYCEĞİZ...Owner of pension is very friendly and helpful.Pension is located 500 m. far from the lake where every morning 10:30 boat tours are organized to go to DALYAN the turtle beach... Boat tour are cheap 25 tl. i mean 12 dollars.tour is whole day , you visit many places and come back at 19:00 ...pension is very clean and perfect prices for budget travellers..Also try its restourant for dinner....cheap and tasty...U ll like it.....
We only stayed for 3 nights before moving onto Dalyan but wished we had stayed longer. After visiting Koycegiz mainly on the Monday boat trips we wanted to see the town for longer. Couldn't have found a better place to stay - we didn't actually find it but a friend in Dalyan - Dale Colson - sorted it out for us. Very welcoming, lovely room, really nice people, and a wonderful Turkish breakfast. Arrived very thirsty late evening and two beers appeared immediately. Had two evening meals there and couldn't fault the food at all. Hoping to return for a week in 2015 and have more time to explore. Amazing views across the lake in the evening - totally perfect.
Perfect.....totally perfect. Spotlessly clean, good sized bedroom, very comfortable bed...simple Turkish breakfast and a host with the most! The patron, Sammi , was very helpful about the area, and even rescued me once when I took a wrong dolmus! He rents bicycles and does boat trips, and food in the evening or cooked breakfast - all of which was delicious. Very reasonably priced, and a friendly family type atmosphere. I will go again!
