This hotel has the best position overlooking the vast fresh water lake with magnificent views across the lake. It is the most peaceful situation for anyone wanting to chill out. My wife, adult daughter and I find any excuse to vary our travel plans when in the area to stay at Hotel Alila. We found it in 2011 and will return yet again in 2015. The owner Omer and his excellent young staff make you very welcome and the food is always fresh and delicious. My only regret is that I did not find it years ago.
We loved the position of this hotel which overlooks the lake and has a lovely swimming pool. We were greeted by a lovely young lady who spoke a little English but was quick to find another family member with English to help us. Our room had a lovely balcony overlooking the lake. The shower was lovely and hot and the room very clean. The bed was a bit creaky but comfortable enough. We had dinner here which was a set menu and served with a smile. Soup, main and fresh fruit. It was a large dinner and very good . Breakfast was pretty much what you get all over Turkey and once again very good. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would have no hesitation in suggesting it to others. We were given some great tips for some travel destinations for the rest of our trip in Turkey also. If we should ever come this way again we would certainly stay at this hotel.…
The Alila hotel is situated next to a beautiful lake (and has a very nice view) in the small town Koycegiz (10.000 people). We only saw Turkish tourists which was a relief after our visit to Kusadaci and Bodrum. Rooms are simple, but OK. Breakfast too. We did not have dinner in the hotel. Staff is friendly. There was a bit too much chlorine in the pool. I would come back to the hotel.
