The place is amazing especially for foreigners coming into India. It is ideal for a 3 night trip and a great introduction to Rajasthani culture. Rajasthan is my favourite place in India for a vacation as it so much character and tradition. The weather is to die for between November and Feb - the weather adds to the romance of the...

Good hotel, pleasant stay and recommended. We spent two nights here, got a room near the reception/lobby. It has a window facing the lake, very nice view. The room is very large and spacious. It includes all amenities you'd expect, except for a safe box. Each day they provide two bottles of water, quite handy given there are no shops...

One of the best places to visit for those travel freaks out there. Upscale hotel with elegant suites, a restaurant, a car-themed bar & a lounge. One of the best managed heritage property in India. The Maharaj of Dungarpur himself takes personal interest in the upkeeping of the place and the Maharani is the soul of the food served here....

This was one of the quirkiest hotels we stayed in over a 40 night tour through India. We booked the Maharawal Suite - pricey, but well worth it. It was like a museum surrounded with beautiful antiques and furniture, with a selection of balconies offering fantastic views. This suite was very comfortable, some might say shabby chic around the edges,...

A well preserved quaint Palace with history that dates back centuries. The royal life is evident amongst each corner of this home, from the Shiv mandir in center of the lake to the Royal courtyard. A private getaway in beautiful foothills of Dungarpur. Modern amenities intertwined with old world hospitality, respect and customs. The rooms are charming and versatile, the...
