Stunning scenery, but our experience would have been more pleasant if we had: 1. Avoided the restaurant. We swatted constantly at flies that crawled over us and our food. We saw no attempts being made to control the fly problem or cover the food at the breakfast buffet. 2. Locked up our cash. 3. Taken our own pillows. The pillows...

We stayed one night in December. The wine farm is exceptionally beautiful and the rooms are spacious and lovely - one of the nicer rooms we have stayed in. Dinner was good although we were the only table in the restaurant that night and breakfast was delicious. We would not hesitate to return.

Just spent two wonderful days at the Zorgvliet guest house in the Stellenbbosch Winelands. In one word WOW. In three OMG. Surrounded by vineyards and beautiful mountains the guest house has amazing rooms, outdoor pool and lovely public areas. Highly recomended.

We booked for two days but enjoyed ourselves so much we stayed an extra day. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The bedrooms are spacious and on ground level so manageable for anyone with any physical impairment - they are clean and we were provided with all essentials including slippers and dressing gowns. The views are magnificent and the...

Really enjoyed our 2-night stay at the Zorgvliet Lodge. Surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery and blue skies, we lounged around the small pool enjoying the peace & quiet. The room was spacious & comfortable, and opened straight onto the grassy terrace. Breakfast was very good & served in the larger, high-ceilinged hall facing the rows of vines. As you might...

I ate a fantastic conference meal here, while staying at the nearby Spier Hotel and Wine Estate. We arrived in coaches, and those of us who did not know the area were very impressed by the beauty of the location, as the wine estate is overlooked by a majestic mountain range. We enjoyed drinks before taking our seats in the...

what a great and quiet stay along the road between Stellenbosch and Franshoek. Relax and stay in the middle of a vineyard with spacious rooms, helpful staff and a great kitchen. Special thanks to the chef for serving vegetarian food.

My family and I stayed for one night and this was absolutely perfect. Our room was beautiful and spotless overlooking the mountains and the estate. The view is absokutely breathtaking. The actual place where you stay and where tourists will come to taste wine is different so you have privacy, but you are still close enough to the wine tasting-...

this place is amazing. We were there for a family wedding and had booked out every room, so it felt like our own little estate for three days. the only downside was that we could not stay longer. I would worry if there was a wedding on and you are not part of the wedding, as weddings tend to dominate...

Our stay at Zorgvliet was wonderful! We wish we could have stayed longer but we were on a road trip across South Africa so we had a lot to see. The receptionists were both very friendly and helpful, the staff in the breakfast area were great, and the restaurant and winery were delicious. The views from the pool area, winery,...
