Hadn't stayed in Stellenbosch before but will definitely stay here again after our de-stress break to South Africa. If you want tranquility, amazing views, delicious food, stunning wines, clean and very comfortable rooms, friendly welcoming knowledgeable staff - then I suggest you stay here! But leave room for me, I'm definitely coming back!

Well situated in the awesome Stellenboshc area. Nice pool, great breakfast, vineyards, landscape, fresh air, good wine and a friendly and attentive staff. I got a room on the 1st floor which gave me access to great views which means great memories!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Hotel and would highly recommend booking an upper grade room. Bathrooms are outstanding. Breakfasts with scones and strawberries and cream, excellent. The hotel is unpretentious but certainly is well situated and charmingly placed for a stay in the vineyards.

Stayed here two nights as part of a Riviera tour of SA . The location is beautiful set in their own estate of vineyards, the rooms are huge, we had a first floor room with fabulous views over the countryside ( the lower rooms have a small terrace but less of a view- but equally gorgeous rooms ) food -...

This was certainly the best of the six hotels we stayed at on our two-week tour of South Africa with Riviera Travel. The room was lovely, with a seating area outside. Ours faced the 'wrong' way so we didn't have a view, but that's just the luck of the draw. The room itself was spacious and clean; the bathroom was...

The hotel was the perfect start of our trip through south africa. The distance from cape town airport to the hotel is so comfortable that you can risk the drive also after a long distance flight. We were deeply surprised of the excellent food that was serverd for dinner accompanied with fine wine. On the following day we enjoyed the...

The Devon Valley was just what we were looking for. We wanted to be in Stellenbosch but wanted somewhere quiet. This hotel is a few kilometres outside the town of Stellenbosch and is set amongst vineyards. We had a Vineyard Double room which was set away from the main hotel (and bar) with a beautiful view of the garden, vineyards...

Dear karonM Many thanks for your review. We are delighted we made your stay memorable and the views from our Hotel. All the TV channels are back and working after replacing a few decoders. This was our second visit, and hopefully it won't be our last. The rooms are tastefully furnished and functional, not luxurious but comfortable. The staff are pleasant, but not bothersome. The dinner was very good and reasonably priced, and the breakfast spread was excellent. Great views of the surrounding hills and some peace and quiet made for a relaxing stay....
