Hubby and I celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary here...1 night away from home :-) It was really a lovely, relaxed experience. The staff upon arrival was extremely helpful & greeted us with a lovely glass of chilled white wine from SylvanVale. Our room was very nice & the bed was super comfortable. We had a little courtyard with a small... More

A beautiful setting overlooking stunning views and vineyards. We had an excellent room, very clean and with the small extra touches which made it special. The staff were efficient and attentive and the food, especially the breakfast buffet first class. We had a BBQ provided on our last night which was brilliant and, at weekends, pizzas are cooked fresh in... More

You cannot beat the beautiful location with vineyards and mountains surrounding the hotel. Some modernisation is needed as it is tired in parts but perhaps the old-fashioned feel helps its character. The bar is well stocked with spirits and beer. The meals are okay although the Malay Buffet on Saturday nights is alright if you like spicy food, which we... More

The positives included the helpful reception area staff and bartender and nice gardens and views from the main patio. Meals in the restaurant ranged from very good to just ok, depending upon what one ordered. Negatives included spoty internet service, dirty dishes left for some time in the hallway outside a room, a safe that didn't work due to low... More
