The Clouds Estate is in a beautiful location not far from the Delaire Graff estate. We were greeted on our early arrival and they had our room ready despite this. We had a meal booked at the Tokara but fortunately the driver was available to take us there. Clouds is in a truly beautiful setting and is a lovely place...

For a special celebration we upgraded to a Deluxe room type when we made our booking, this came with added expectation for the hotel experience. On arrival we were impressed with the grounds and how the hotels design makes it striking, yet very homely. A nice touch on arrival was a complimentary glass of Clouds pink sauvignon blanc taken in...

We have visited before and enjoyed the place, on our recent visit we got the feeling that the staff had been left to their own devices without a manager’s guidance. Menus for in room service where out of date, lady at the front desk did not know menu let alone the waiters. Linen looked a bit tired!! A bit like...

The place is beautiful. The views are stunning. First the good: Rooms are wonderful. Beds comfortable. Bathroom floors heated for the cold weather as well as the towels. Coffee and tea in the room. Everything is clean and fresh. Complimentary wine upon check in. Booked a private wine tour that the front desk took care of for us at the...

Been here with a group of friends to enjoy the view and the wine. Unfortunately they gave us a wrong menu with wrong prices. In the end we were forced to pay the higher prices..didn't want to make a scene but thats unprofessional and impudent

Beautiful location. The best view in town. The villa was spectacular (some construction going on right now). Everything you could wish for. Shower was great when we checked in; however, in the morning all the water was off and not working. We were sad about that and the person at the front desk didn't really seem too concerned.

Reception was warm and friendly. Room was first class and very comfortable and the view spectacular. Dinner was quite good (particularly the fish) and reasonably priced . Breakfast was very good Only minor criticism was that tea/coffee/milk for the room was not replenished but was readily available from reception

We booked Clouds as the result of a chance meeting at a wedding. Another couple were staying there and they had done their research. We had not. So a lucky last minute cancellation (I guess) and we booked room 7 which is a superior room with its own outdoor Jacuzzi. Ah the view..........there is nothing more I can say that...

Beautiful boutique hotel with the most stunning view in Stellenbosch. Winelands and mountains in front of the rooms. More than worthwhile to visit for a relaxed stay. Top restaurants in the neighbourhood. Excellent service. Excellent breakfast. Small hotel of just 7 rooms. Full with design furniture and art.

Brilliant and beautiful place - highly recommended! Service was excellent, wine delicious; and the neighbouring wine-estate offers an amazing restaurant, Indochine. We loved our stay and will definitely be returning. Wedding venue for sure!
