Reviewed 9 June 2012 The owners are very warm and welcoming - it felt like we were staying with friends. The rooms were wonderful with the little balcony over the lake. Close to Franschoek which is a lovely, cottagy town. Close also so some amazing restaurants and vineyards.

Reviewed 11 March 2012 Papyrus Lodge is a real hideaway. We loved it for its perfect location, comfortable accommodation (we stayed in de luxe suite in the main lodge house) and the perfect hosts (Stefan and Kirstin) who made us feel very welcome!
