We had a couple of nights at Palmiet and wished we could have stayed longer. It really is a peaceful retreat as well as a great base to explore from, it felt like an old country house stay. We stayed in the Honeymoon Suite ( despite having been married over 30 yrs! ) and it was spacious and beautifully furnished...

What a wonderful farm style venue with basic natural beauty. We hosted a function in the cellar which was absolutely classical and enjoyable , away from the really hot late summer sun. The historic setting on the foothills from Paarl and Nederburg is the perfect quite setting a short distance away from the hustle and bustle of CT busy tourist...

We had booked only one night at Palmiet and as soon as we arrived we began to regret that. Palmiet was everything that we had hoped for and more. We were looking for somewhere that had that old Dutch feel and look. We had a room that had it's own art deco lounge and a beautiful four poster bed upstairs...

This is a place I would love to frequently visit. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, it seems like everyone on this estate...

The gardens and vineyards are stunning and beautifully maintained. 3-course set menu evening meal with really good wines from the estate . A very competent chef, service was on time and we felt that the staff loved their jobs. Table service was very well done, staff were...

Everything was just how we wanted it to be, wonderful. The room was better than expected and dinner under the oak tree was a delight. We also met some lovely people while enjoying sun downers and we will definitely return next time we are in SA.

We stayed for two nights in this charming Guest House, the rooms of which are scattered over a number of different buildings. Our room in the main building was quite small, but well appointed with everything you may require. The main dining room was fitted out with antique furniture as was our own room. The food, both breakfast and evening...
