Room smelled damp on arrival, however large enough and reasonably well-equipped. Pool was small with crowded deckchairs and breakfast tables. Staff and owners were reasonably friendly however the stay was expensive for a B&B. We chose instead for a nearby Hotel which was an absolute gem - slightly more expensive but a far more pleasurable experience. We ended up staying...

What a beautiful place! Quiet, peaceful and clean. We stayed for 2 days and had such a lovely stay! Dan and his family made us feel welcome from the first minute. The whole farm is beautiful, the pool a little paradise and the food really good. We cannot wait to come back!

Small scale accomodation with ample opportunity to meet other guests. One can either stay with ones own compagny or mixing with other guests. Two swimming pools. The Leeuwenhof is situated quietly outside Paarl.

A lovely couple of days spent at De Leeuwenhof. We received a warm welcome on arrival from Tessa whose enthusiasm was just wonderful. She gave us plenty of hints and ideas for places to visit and restaurants to eat at, and was kind enough to book these up for us. The nearby tour of the Nederberg winery was excellent value...

We enjoyed our stay. The family was always present to ask what will you do and gave us good tips for trips in the surroundings or good Restaurants. Every evening there was a fire near the pool to meet other guests and have a drink together.

First class service from being welcomed initially to leaving two nights later. We have lived in South Africa for 16 years and enjoy eating out it our evening meal was as good as anything else we have encountered. The family really do take an interest in their guests and it shows.

We had a great time @ de Leeuwenhof. What needs to be highlighted was the food. We had such delicious dinners - it was unreal. Btw. Paarl is a great place to hop over e.g. To see the aquilla game reserve.

Very, very nice, familiar and friendly atmosphere combined with wonderful food(best springbok filet of the vacations, camps bay/Cape Town/ de kelders included!), even better vine, and a cosy and large room. We can only recommend it!
