We had a great time @ de Leeuwenhof. What needs to be highlighted was the food. We had such delicious dinners - it was unreal. Btw. Paarl is a great place to hop over e.g. To see the aquilla game reserve.

Very, very nice, familiar and friendly atmosphere combined with wonderful food(best springbok filet of the vacations, camps bay/Cape Town/ de kelders included!), even better vine, and a cosy and large room. We can only recommend it!

They tought us in clay pigeon shooting, made a BBQ, brought us to a fantastic wine tasting and served us a grat menu for Dinner with excellant wine. The Farm is made with a lot of love...

Thank you for your positive review and it was a pleasure having you. Our guests are welcome every morning at the breakfast area on the terrace next to the big pool and our girls bake fresh bread and croissant and prepare fresh local fruits for the healthy start. Then we have on top of that, a whole range of cooked...

My wife and I had a very pleasurable stay here over a November weekend. It's a family affair at De Leeuwenhof: their daughter greeted us and checked us in, Yvonne chatted with us over dinner, and Daan spoke to us poolside about the fires in nearby Franschhoek (he is Paarl's fire chief). The room made us feel at home; the...

I experience a great stay at this lovely place in Paarl. In my books very friendly and relaxing atmosphere. Lovely to have a good glass of wine in the evenings at the lapa with a nice fire going next to the pool. Highly recommended.

Thank you very much for the positive review. We take great pride in taking hospitality to the next level and especially the atmosphere is very important. We are glad it worked well and that you also enjoyed our 3-course candle-light dinner around the pool. We started with the restaurant 5 years ago, as we felt, guest wanted to relax around...

PROS A nice sitting room with soft chairs, with soft lightings, but one bright light would be welcome. When the sun came out during the day, the place felt much warmer. There is no heater in the sitting room, just an AC in the bedroom which also produces heat when the power feels like it. We were able to have...

Great spot. Loved the farm and hosts. Room very comfortable but I hardly slept due to mosquitoes and I also couldn't manage to get the air conditioning to work. Breakfast was delicious, sitting outside next to the pool. Enjoyed a dinner in Paarl that evening which was well recommended by the hosts.
