LEN met us on arrival and with his usual Gastfreundlichkeit brought drinks out to the vehicle. It was a welcome stay in the minimalist yet very well designed chalets ! The evening meal prepared by Hennie was excellent. I had Strauss Pâté as a starter followed by a succulent piece of ostrich fillet and vegetables. Drinks were reasonably priced and...

My husband and I stayed for two nights at Thabile Lodge in October 2012. We arrived in a deluge of rain which we were told was not a usual occurance in the semi-desert area. Even in the rain we were welcomed by Len and his staff with a hot cup of tea and a welcome smile. Our room was warm,...

My wife and I stayed here for two nights in October 2012. We also had dinner there for both nights as it is somewhat isolated from the nearest town. This is not a problem as the meals were first class, try the ostrich steak. This is an unique guest farm with the guest rooms a series of outbuildings two rooms...

We keep on going back to this gorgeous guestfarm where all you can do is relax! Our kids think the place is absolutely amazing and they always have a ball. Len the owner and host is very special and always makes us feel so at home and spoils us with the best food and wine. Thanks Len once again it...

A homely stay not to be beaten easily. The owner, Len (chief, cook and bottle washer) is the most gifted host to be found anywhere. He just knows how people love to be attended to, without being obtrusive. Located against the Red Hills of the Swatrberg Mountains, the lodge chalets offer rooms with a view to dream of. Very spacious...

Incredible good food, so nice attention from Len I can only warmly recommend this destination. I've rarely seen so much dedication about the wellness of the guest. I had special requests doing a MTB race in the area and all of them have been fulfilled by Len ( the boss!). Room is very comfortable. Highly recommended destination.

We hat a short stint at Len's place due to a wedding but what an awesome find. Relaxed atmosphere, spacious rooms and great views. It is close enough to De Rust to make an easy trip to town or relax in the Jacuzzi with views of the mountains. Len is very relaxed and makes one feel welcome without being intrusive....

This was our second stop and were slightly dubious as it is quite a distance from Oudtshoorn. However, we were made so welcome by Len, his chef and his 6 dogs (and Garfield). The rooms were very comfortable and had all that was needed for a short stay. The views were magnificant and the food was excellent. Len has a...

We stayed a night and Len welcomed us alongside his 6 dogs and fat cat Garfield and we instantly felt at home. Villas are very comfortable to sleep the 3 of us and hosts a wide open field for excellent star gazing at night and looks out to the countryside and snow cap mountains. Just a short distance from Oudtstoorn's...
