We haved stayed at Le Petit Karoo for one night and we loved it! Great place in a beautiful environment. The view from our tent was amazing, we enjoyed a South African wine while watching the sunset. The staff is really friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good. If you are planning to stay in Oudtshoorn make sure to... More

Pascal is a jovial host and greeted us with gusto. He was flexible about our booking -- most guest houses assume two adults with a child are a couple, whilst we were grandmother and son. The rooms were large and comfortable with adequate heating (and air conditioning) and lots of hot water. Breakfast was excellent cooked by the host himself.... More

Thank you to all the staff, Owners Louise and Johan for a very comfortable stay. We arrived late and shown our rooms which was 2 rooms with a lounge/kitchenette in the middle, perfect for a family with children. The electrical blankets were such a luxury. My wife wanted to stay outside so she found the ranch on our way to Cape Town. It was a cool way to enjoy the area . Very close to the caves. We had a great time and the breakfast was the best. Staying in the tents is an adventure for sure!

We had a lovely short stay at La Petit Karoo ranch. Warm bed and awesome hot tub made for a nice relaxing stay. The bathroom was a bit cold, but the warm blanket on the bed made up for it. Will definitely like to go there again and stay longer!

You drive a few hundred meters up to the hill on a gravelroad. Then we could choose for a tent or a room. Though we reserved the tent. At this place you need to be in a tent. It was not big but everything was there. The hottub outside was exiting whith a wonderfull view. Also at the terrasse the... More

The tented room has fabulous views and very neat. It was very cold, but with the feather duvet and electric blanket (just needed a double bed electric blanket on the double bed and not a single bed one) we stayed nice and warm. The bathroom could have been more enclosed with roll up sides for warmer days. And if every... More

I stayed here for one night. It is a tricky drive to negotiate from the road to the property but well worth it. I was greeted by Pascal and his two dogs. He is a really lovely, jolly host. The restaurant was open in the evening, pascal is also the chef, so I asked for an evening meal for 7:30pm.... More

There is a communal room which holds the fridge that is shared with all the guests and where the TV is. There is no TV in the rooms. The owner kindly let us braai and supplied all the cutlery and crockery free of charge. Dinner was almost R200 per person and it included a starter, main and dessert. Delicious but... More

We stayed for a night in on of the tents. The view was unbelievable and the staff extremely kind. So good to feel such level of privacy. Was a great experience and we wish we could have stayed longer! Thanks Pascal!
