Really enjoyed my 1 night stay at the end of our Garden Route journey. We stayed in a nice roomy dorm, which had comfy beds, 2 showers, 2 toilets (one with no door though) and 2 sinks. Had a braai on the first night, lovely and plentiful, including ostrich if you did want to try it! In the evening there...

Decided to rent a mountain bike and do the trip from the top of the swartberg pass into oudtshoorn. Booking was simple and the driver who takes you to the top of the pass by car was very helpful and pleasant. The first part of the cycle down the pass is quite tricky being on a dirt road especially if...

This was like a chilled out bungalow in the trees. Very nice and delicious hot breakfast for only 90 Rand. Only spent one night there, but it had a electric gate and felt very homey and safe. Only complaint: no towels. Maybe some to rent? (Didn't ask though)

Nice chilled hostel - easy to find and not far from supermarkets and town centre- as well as a short drive to Cango Caves and the Ostriches! Our dorm was clean and the facilities are great, including a well equipped kitchen! The staff were so awesome, make sure you try the Barman (Vicus- hope I'm spelling that right !) recommended...

A very chilled place close to the center of oudtshorn. Worth an overnight stay due to its friendly staff, the location and the braai in the evening (very delicious) for R90 pp. Pool Table, Swimming Pool and a large kitchen are included.

The house is an old one....but the location is great and the staff too! They made a reservation for the Cango Caves is our name and very kindly explained everything there is to be done around. Would stay again.

Beautiful old building, well maintained, clean, but new beds will make it great. Our reception was lovely, made a friend in Kristin from Germany. Location great, short walk to some lovely restaurants.

We stayed for two nights at Paradise Backpackers camping in a lovely quiet spot with great access to facilities. The staff are very friendly, the kitchen has everything you need, the tea and coffee station is a lovely touch, and the place is spotless. We only had a couple of cinnamon rolls from the cafe but they were lovely and...
