We stayed in Piglets Place for one night in order to attend a function at the Farm Village across the road. It was really well priced and very convenient. The room is well furnished with two single beds made up as one. Basic self catering equipment is provided, microwave, two plate stove and mini oven combo, kettle, toaster, fridge and cutlery & crockery. Some breakfast foodstuff was also provided, bread, butter, jam, cheese, oats so easy, crunchie biscuits, granola. Some upgrades could improve the room, e.g. toaster, flat screen TV. A bit of maintenance would not be amiss. The garden is really stunning and has a stream running through it.

We stayed in Owl’s House which is a beautifully equipped and extremely comfortable home-from-home. Our hosts were welcoming and considerate and went out of their way to make our visit very special. We loved spending time in the extensive and stunningly beautiful garden, and exploring all the outside space - the Poohsticks bridge, the Bonsai En, the pool, the bunnies and the chickens. The situation - just across from the gastronomic delights and quirky shops of the Farm Village - couldn’t be more convenient. Nordhoek itself is to be highly recommended, too, as a jumping off point for all that the Southern Peninsula has to offer and yet is only 40 minutes away from the Waterfront via the world-famous Chapman’s Peak Drive. We first stayed at Pooh Corner eleven years ago and it was lovely to be back. We will definitely return next year.

Wow, I have to commend you(Kathy) for the wonderful experience we had this past weekend. From the surprises at breakfast every morning, to the advise on what we can do during the day. I have to make mention about your Banana and Greek yoghurt pancakes. It was amazing. Thank you for making our stay special and for making us feel at home. We will definitely be returning in future.

There was only 1 wish on my daughter's birthday list... to invite 3 friends for a sleepover at The House at Pooh Corner. Kathy welcomed 4 little girls with open arms. They swam, had a picnic, played Hide and Seek in the beautiful garden, made smores around the fire-pit and stayed up late playing board games. Final rating? Best Birthday Ever. This is what memories are made of.

Everything you need and more is on hand at the House at Pooh Corner. Cathy is a delight and a fantastic cook and gardener. The setting is peaceful and semi-rural, and Noordhoek Farm Village, with great restaurants, coffee and take-home food, is across the road. Comfy beds, double doors opening onto the lovely garden and a well-equipped kitchenette make it tempting to hang out all day instead of seeing the sights! Great value for money too.
