#11 of 14 Speciality lodging in Noordhoek
Sylvia and Adrian, the owners of Hawk Mere Self Catering and B&B Cape Town, are proud of its’ 3-star rating and we look forward to making you feel welcome in our home. Family friendly, Hawk Mere Self Catering and B&B Cape Town is all about chilling and relaxing. Unwind on the deck and gaze at the Noordhoek Wetlands as the sun goes down. Do feel at home, as you enjoy having the dogs Bonnie and Badger around, laugh at the parrots Scallywag and Sweetypie, watch the chickens and the comical ducks. Hang out in the communal space, on the deck or next to the 12 metre solar heated swimming pool. Of course it would not be home if you couldn’t braai / barbeque next to the pool. We are passionately eco conscious and have implemented various eco strategies ie solar geysers, biodegradable cleaning products, as well as low volume chemical usage cleaning, recycling including composting and worm farming, plus bio insectery fly control, using fly specific wasps.Adrian is a dedicated Falconer and a founder member of the Bird of Prey Working Group. Sylvia is an estate agent who has a passion for gardening. So you could be picking veggies with Sylvia from the permaculture veggie garden, or chatting to Adrian about his Black Sparrowhawk and the art of falconry. If you must head out we’re halfway between Cape Town and Cape Point! This makes it very easy to visit and enjoy all that Cape Town has to offer. You are most welcome for a winter hideaway or a summer break. All we ask is that you make yourselves at home with us at Hawk Mere Self Catering and B&B Cape Town.

I love Noordhoek! This selfcatering place have the potential to be one of the best! Close to everything, beautiful surroundings.Only problem... The refrigerator didn't work well and end up throwing away some stuff. But will definitely go there again!

Sylvia is a friendly hostess, we stayed in the self catering room and found it comfortable clean and well maintained. There are two very friendly spaniels on the property. A special touch was the bottle of sparkling wine we received on new years eve. Good, functional place to stay.

We have had the fortune of staying 3 times at Hawk Mere Selfcatering & BB. Beautiful views, lovely accommodation, and wonderful hosts. A wonderful break-away from the busy hustle & bustle of city life. We love this very special place, and would recommend with out hesitation to families, couples and friends.

Thank-you for you lovely review Robyn, Adrian and I enjoyed hosting you and your friends. Also we have had some repeat business from your friends, who joined you for your birthday party, so that was a double win for us. We look forward to seeing you in the future. Kind regards - Sylvia and Adrian
