I spent a few months, off and on, at the Chapman's Peak Caravan Park and it was a delightful experience! I loved the animals, the beautiful grounds, the friendly, welcoming and very helpful staff - as well as the clean and well kept ablutions - always with hot water! I would recommend this spot to any traveler! I miss you...

This place has the South African spirit of Ubuntu. At the ablution facilities there is a place you can pick up a book to read and put a new one there or put it back. They have bulls, cows, pigs, horses, chickens, peacocks, ducks,etc.... They have shaded campsites with a pool and a trampoline if you feel like being a hippie. A sense...

We had a well-grassed campsite under big trees so did not have to put down our groundsheet or put up the awning on our caravan. Quiet and paeceful! Farm animals and poultry around add to the atmosphere.

I have been staying at this 'little haven' for over a week now - with a gorgeous view of Chapman's Peak! It has been a very happy time, and I am planning to stay for a while! I love the atmosphere, the animals and the friendly and helpful attitude of the owners Chris and Rea - and Jerry! It may...

We had a good stay here in April. The place is run down, but it works. The ablutions are old but kept clean. The owners are friendly and helpful. The campsite is fairly protected from the weather. It was nice to camp on grass amongst the trees. The position is okay for access to things on that side of town,...

I am not sure where to start really..... We stayed in one of the two cottages that they have and I can honestly say without a doubt that this has to be the worst place I have ever stayed. The cottages themselves were fine, they had a lounge, two bedrooms, bathroom and small kitchen but the place was filthy!I don't...

We loved it so much here that we ended up staying over 2 months! The property is spacious, offering enough space on the shady grass for everybody. We liked the ablutions a lot, they are cleaned every day and the water is hot all day - there is 1 bath tub for the gents and 4 for the ladies! A...

We like this place a lot, because everything is laid back and there is a great community spirit from the full time residents. The ablutions, whilst badly needing some investment, are good sized and kept absolutely clean. There is a two machine laundry with a tumble dryer and ironing boards. Irons available to hire at office. A communal fridge freezer,...

Really loved this slightly overgrown farm park - close to the city and beaches but nestled in open fields and shady driveways with an epic homemade playground and animals everywhere! Maintenance is a little lacking on the grounds but everything was clean and functional and very peaceful. Close drive to the Long Beach shopping center for all the necessities and...
