A really lovely place to stay within easy walking distance from the town and waterfront. The staff were very friendly and attentive and the accommodation, though not modern, was well apportioned, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. We stayed in one of the four garden rooms which were very quiet but those in the main house could be subject to traffic... More

It's a lovely place with cozy rooms within a short walking distance to the Waterfront. The owners Pat & Lynne are fantastic! They made sure every guest had the information needed to get the most out of their day while preparing and serving breakfast. The only downside would be that the bathroom could use a little update, although it's spotless... More

As a B&B goes we were happy until today. The room was cozy and clean and our breakfast was good. However as my husband was riding the Karoo to Coast cycle race we had asked on the Friday (2 days prior to the race) if we could please have a late check-out as my husband would need a shower and... Loved our stay here, great recommendations of places to eat, views of the heads and drives around the area. We had a view of the lagoon from our room and extra touches to the room made the stay extra special. Our only complaint is that we didn't get to stay longer.

Bridgewater is conveniently located and a perfectly comfortable B&B! Some rooms only have a shower, but most have a bath and all have TV's with DSTV and tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast was simple but more than adequate. Our room faced the main road, but noise wasn't an issue at all and the Waterfront is within walking distance -... More

We were excited about staying at Bridgewater B&B and the visit lived up to its expectations!! We travel extensively for business but this time, it was a leisure trip. The B&B is well located. It's approximately a 2-3 minute drive into town and a 10 minute walk (all flat surfaces) to the waterfront. The place overlooks the lagoon, which is... More

Very good all round. Welcome at arrival was good. We told the lady we were only staying the day and the recommendation on where to go was spot on (tapas bar at thesan island is a must do!) Room was spotless. Breakfast was great. Very friendly staff. Some issues with mozzies and a little noisy with traffic, but that was... More

Coming from the travel industry, I must say Bridgewater was the best choice for our holidays in the Garden Route. Rooms are beautiful in an English Style and super comfortable. Amazing and friendly service, really homy. Yummy and complete breakfast, used to be the best part of the day. And the location is perfect, close to the waterfront and on... More

We returned to Bridgewater again this year, and as always Lyn and Pat were kindness itself. They always spare time from their busy schedule to talk to us and we learn much about South Africa. We had the upstairs front bedroom which had a lovely balcony and a view over the lagoon. Breakfast was everything you could ever wish for... More
