What a Gem!! Step out of the business of Knysna commercial centre into the enchanted forest....birds swooping down in the centre of the hotel! We had a marvellous stay. Remember that it is located on a rather busy street so one cannot escape the traffic, we closed the bathroom door and had the aircon on, so a peaceful sleep. The...

The interior courtyard is a jungle landscape with birds, lizards and other critters. The all wooden structure is really neat and the windows open to the courtyard ( specify courtyard rooms ) allowing fresh air and interesting animal sounds to waft in to your room. Full baths and beds with very nice linens help seal the deal. Breakfast is included...

We stumbled upon this charming lodge-styled hotel in search of a night's stay. We had the pool to ourselves, plenty of friendly and helpful staff, a great bar upstairs, breakfast included, fully-equipped and very clean rooms.

We stayed here for 2 nights during a road trip in October 2015. The hotel is nice and clean full of character no balconies for any rooms. Breakfast was good. The hotel is very centrally located, just a few steps from the waterfront, which is perfect for shopping and also, there are some good restaurants there. Very helpful staff.

I would recommend this to anyone that is looking to stay for 1 night or more best place to stay at. The staff is friendly and polite. Breakfast is amazing. Close to the Waterfront about a 3 min walk and about a 2 min walk to the Mall.

We stayed here for 2 nights during a road trip in may 2015. The hotel is nice and clean, the only thing that can bother one is that there are no rooms with balconies. Plus, all rooms are accessible via a Veranda, with the only window of the room going out to that Veranda - which means that basically, anyone...

I just spent 3 nights in the Hotel on a business trip. At first I was disappointed that they do not serve dinner but with hindsight it allowed me to experience the restaurant scene at the Waterfront and Thesen Island. The reception was good and the staff very helpful. The room was well equipped and clean. Being on a working...

The place looks amazing on first look with its all wooden interiors. From inside it doesn't feel as if your room is on the corner of a street. The rooms are small but nice. And the breakfast is decent. This is an ideal place if you travel the whole day to nearby places like oudtshoorn or bloukrans bridge or the...

Stayed here for two nights as part of a tour and found it to be a very comfortable, well-located hotel within easy walking distance of the harbour side for a good selection of restaurants. It's a wooded Alpine-style hotel with large, clean, comfortable rooms. It serves a decent breakfast and there is a bar with a pleasant outside terrace although...

Lots of timber structures and furniture in keeping with the history of the area. Rooms were of a good size with good air conditioning. Bathrooms were of a good standard. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Not a lot of atmosphere in the bar area but you could drink outside weather permitting. Breakfasts could have been better.
