I have visited Hermanus many times and tried different places but Francolinhof is the place to stay. The location, the views, the rooms and the hosts are all above your expectations. This is a very special place and when i return to Hermanus (hopefully soon) I would be disappointed if I cannot get a room here. This is a place...

The rooms are spacious, the hosts are generous (help yourself to some lovely south african port after a night out), the breakfast is wonderfully perfect. Mary & Jean are superb at running the B&B, the views from our room (Sugarbird) were spectacular! We had been to Hermanus many times but Mary knows where to eat, to shop, to whale spot...

Very friendly welcome, rooms are spacious and well equipped. There are 4/5 star hotels in the world that do not match this B&B !

Loved this place. Light rooms. Quiet, cosy, clean. Great location high up the mountain with stunning views across the bay and the whales. Yummy breakfast. Fabulous hosts (Marie and Jean). Excellent value. Highly recommended.

We have had such a super stay here. Nothing seemed too much trouble and we were made to feel very special, and truly pampered. Wonderful breakfasts - wonderful views - wonderful welcome. Plus the unexpected bonus of under floor heating in the bathroom ! Definately 10/10.

We stayed here for two nights during the World Cup and had a very nice time. We were greeted with a fresh cup of coffee and Mary was so kind to book a table at the Harbour Rock (great steaks and fish!) for us. Breakfast was excellent with several hot dishes to be ordered and tasteful fresh bread. To start...

As I'm disabled and use a wheelchair finding accessible accommodation can be a very nerve wrecking and disheartening exprience but I was lucky to find this guest house. Jean and Mary were wonderful hosts, their positive and very helpful attitude made my stay very comfortable and relaxing. They were always on hand to help and give advice. My tastefully decorated...

We enjoyed a brief stay (2 nights) at Francolin Hof and found it excellent. If you choose to walk into town along the cliff path, 2 hours +, someone will collect you and bring you back. You don't get that service very often! Nothing seemed to be a problem. We chose to stroll down to Grotto Beach where we found...
