We originally booked at Sweet Olive but due to the quiet winter season we were asked to move to Sweet Ocean View. This property is a quaint old terrace house that has been beautifully restored. It is a three bedroom house and we had one room with a private bathroom. There were no other guests so we had the place...

What a lovely little gem tucked away in Sea Point! The guesthouse was recently refurbished and everything was crips and new.The service was attentive (thank you Memory!) and no request was too much. Definitely will be revisiting soon!

Visited with a group of friends (took over the whole place with 16 of us) nothing was too much trouble for Moses, Memory, Miriam and Paula and 16 people for breakfast all at once - no problem. Lovely rooms, good breakfast, excellent wine in the fridges, absolutely worth a visit. Walking distance from excellent restaurants and there are plenty in...

Stayed here with my sister for 4 nights. The whole place is beautiful with a lot of little extras that really make the stay special. We had a room on the first floor where others have complained it is noisy in the mornings, but if you turn on the fan provided you hear nothing. We don't eat breakfast so can't...

I lived here after Sweet Lemon and Orange, and finally was able to get here a little bit of liquid soap from the soap dish - in previous places this was impossible. In the ocean I had the smallest room (comparing with previous Sweets) on the second floor, but with a terrace and a large common area. Not surprising that...

we stayed for 3 nights and were "upgraded" to the "sweet berries": a guesthouse with two rooms (basically just for us!) with a view on the bay. The place was super quite and were pampered every morning with super breakfasts, the service was very pleasant and discrete. I will definitely recommend to friends

We booked a room in the guest house for a whole week to explore Cape Town. Overall it is well located to explore as well Cape Town and the more southern areas with beaches and the cape of good hope. The area is very safe an a lot of chances for shopping. Although parking is tight we did'nt have a...

Check-in / room: We've booked 7 nights in the sweet ocean view guesthouse. When we arrived they checked us in another house (selborne road, lower level). We were confused as we've booked the house in barkly road but we didn't complained as the apartment was nice. During the night we've recognized that it is impossible to have a nice and...
