We bought a 2night B&B with a couples massage and dinner. The massages was already fully booked a week in advance, forfeit the massage. The 3 course dinner was extremely small. Breakfast was good. The room was like a bunker, only a small window above the bed, impossible to see outside. Coffee machine was not working properly. Not what we expected for a weekend break, money wasted.

We overnight at the Sugar Hotel for my son to take part in the Robben Island swim. The location wat perfect. Dinner and breakfast was excellent. The hotel was very accommodating with an extra early breakfast and other demands we had. We will be back.

The room was beautiful and the hotel staff was very hospitable and very friendly. The Restautart was a big dispappotnment. I poured myself a glass of water and filled it with the ys cubes in the mini-fridge in the room. Ek crewed the ice and cut my mouth. The ice was full of nig glass pieces I can be thankful for my habit of biting ice because if that would have gotten in my stomach I do not want to think what could of happened.

Our stay was fantastic! Front Desk made the check-in seamless and efficient. I had some additional requests that they were too happy to assist with. The restaurant staff were friendly and accommodated my special diet needs. The room was very spacious, clean and had everything I needed to feel at home. Highly recommend!

I literally checked out just over 2 hours ago. I booked an overnight stay for my wife & I to celebrate our 21 year anniversary. We could only afford the 1 night due to financial reasons and also because the universe aligned & we were kid free. When placing my reservation, I made the following note under "Special requests" - "My wife and I are celebrating our 21 year anniversary so something special for this milestone will be appreciated...but not expected :-)". To my surprise & excitement I received the following reply: "We are pleased to let you know that the accommodation has confirmed they will be able to arrange this for you. There will be no extra charge for this request." (I also attached a screenshot). To my disappointment; however, when we got to our room...absolutely nothing was done. When I asked the Manager, he had no idea what I was talking about but then promised to have something special done for breakfast. AGAIN...nothing was done!!! I didn't even bother asking because the moment(s) passed and I thought what's the point. Then there's the actual room...which had a very nice bathroom but when we removed the duvet from its cover because it was just too hot...we were then disgusted with what we discovered. I've attached pics for reference...the duvet was covered in weird yellow & pink stains. The latter probably as a result of a failed attempt to wash out bloodstains. Then there's the one cupboard door that almost fell on my foot (see pic) ,along with the cupboard itself also being filthy inside (see pic). Overall...this was a R1363.23 which could've rather been used on dinner & a movie, followed by some coffee!
