I had the pleasure of sleeping in a dorm room for 2 nights at the Sunflower Stop Backpackers. The beds were comfortable with quality bedding, the staff were nice and friendly, and the whole atmosphere of the place was relaxed. The kitchen was revamped recently and it is quite a pleasant experience to spend time there. Although there is nothing...

I am not a frequent user of hostels so went to stay at the sunflower with some trepidation (was booked by party leader). However I can honestly say that this hostel is as good as a 3 star hotel. It is very clean, very well appointed with a beautiful large modern kitchen and laundry services. The bunk bed I slept...

A Sunflower Stop is really a home away from home. The staff is friendly and makes you feel welcome, they were very helpful with everything we needed to know and it was very comfortable. It's situated next to the stadium in a nice neighborhood and you have easy access to the city.

Thanks for the great home-from-home, guys. I had a great time, felt safe, secure and relaxed. I found the staff helpful at all times and was encouraged by the constantly clean kitchen and bathrooms. All that remains for me to say, is " I will return".

I booked into this hostel last minute because it was cheap and convenient and was expecting it to be grim. Not the case! The staff are laid back and friendly, there's a pool, there's free coffee, it's clean and there are lockers you can use (bring a padlock). The kitchen and communal areas are well equipped. Would advise eyemask and...

We were just staying in Cape Town overnight before our plane left the next day. The staff was really friendly and the facilities were very nice and well kept. The location also can't be beat. Overall, the house had a lot of charm and we had a great time.

I stayed here one night with some friends who all left the following day. The place was nice and clean, great showers, we had lockers, wifi, coffee, etc. The only thing I didn't love about this place was the location - I didn't feel safe by myself outside, though at no fault of the hostel.

Very nice stay. The hostel is clean, the staff is very helpfull and the location is perfect!! It was only a 15min drive to the Table Mountain, 20min walk to Victoria Bay/8min drive. The rooms were fine. For a hostel it was very good.
