We stayed here for a week during our annual visit to Cape Town. The best hostel by far in the city. The braai on a Saturday night is one of the highlights. Very friendly staff and atmosphere. Very clean hostel. One of the only ones I've stayed in where your room Is cleaned daily. Could not recommend this place enough....

What a friendly and welcoming place the Sunflower Stop is in Cape Town. Friendly and helpful staff, cheap drinks and a swimming pool. Secure entry. Close to shops and the waterfront; on bus and train routes, cheap taxi fare into the city centre; all make this is a good place for a lower cost alternative to the centre of town....

Very convenient backpacker, affordable. Located at a walking distance to most attractions at the Cape, like the Sea Point ,V and A Waterfront and all. Transport is easily accessible and the rooms are clean. I just didn't like the shared bathrooms. But its really a place to be in the Cape.

I really liked the place and the staff. I love the pool and i had so much fun. The area is great, next to everything, so i could make a lot of things by walk. The bathroom is nice and the rooms comfortables.

Thank you for a wonderful hospitality, looking forward to see you again soon for my second visit, I think breakfast must be free, and be included in the bookings, you must have a tour bus or taxi for all your visitors staying for a week or more, and braai day's must be from Friday to Sunday's. Please include business accommodation...

The reviews seemed really great, but I was just not impressed by this hostel. The guy working the front desk was really nice and accomodating, but the guy behind the bar was not friendly at all. Also definitely an older crowd, 30-40. I could've just been there on an off week, but in my experience if you're looking for a...

Great backpackers accommodation at an affordable price considering its location. Its generally ok and I would definitely come back anytime. The kitchen and reception are clean and who wouldn't say yes to a free wi-fi?
