Our first visit to Cape Town and we were thrilled to find every detail taken care of at Blackheath Lodge. From the onset, Antony took care of all our requests made from Canada including a driver to pick us up and return us to the airport and booking our tours of the Cape Town Peninsula and wine region. His restaurant...

We are very pleased with our stay at BHL. It began with our welcome by Jean Claude and continued with the warmth and friendliness of Michelle, Antony and the rest of this team. Our need was attended to. Highlights were the breakfast and eating area, the pool in the afternoon. I have fond memories of many of us guests returning...

We love Cape Town, and stay at the Blackheath Lodge made our 2nd visit to this lovely city even more pleasant. Antony and his team (special comment about Jean Claude: extremely attentive and helpful) are always thinking about how to make your trip enjoyable, relaxed and safe. We warmly recommend the Blackheath Lodge. Gustavo and Patricia Florianópolis, Brasil

Blackheath lodge, run by Antony and John, is fantastic. It is cozy but modern, tasteful, inviting, extremely clean and very relaxed. The location is exactly where you want to be: steps to the beach, restaurants, the city and Table Mountain. The breakfasts are astonishingly good with friendly, approachable service. Antony and John managed to squeeze us in on short notice...

We booked this B&B on the strength of other Tripadvisor reviews for one week in April 2011. We wanted a relaxing week in Cape Town after a 14-day tour of SA, and somewhere special to spend our 20th wedding anniversary. We were not disappointed! On arrival we were met by Antony and the 2 resident cats, Lime & Soda, before...

There's a DVD library for when you can't sleep. They've thought of everything. I'm a photography and travel with expensive equipmeny so...

I could bang on about how fantastic this place was forever and a day. This is the only place where I have stayed where I could not fault one single aspect. You wanted for nothing and the staff went above and beyond anything that was expected. If you go to Cape Town this place should be your first choice.

After a total of 15 hour travel, we were excited to see our B&B, which we chose after a long process of elimination of the hotels in Cape Town. As expected, it was one of a kind. The lobby is small and vintage as if it jumps out of the cover of an art magazine. The breakfast area is extremely...

Blackheath feels like coming home in Cape Town. Anthony and his staff are so friendly and their advises for restaurants, places to go and routes to come there :-) are great. The service is really impeccable. If you want to visit Cape Town in a relaxed and stylish lodge, this is the place to stay. Breakfast is excellent; I wish...
