I cannot imagine staying anywhere else in Cape Town. The location and the staff at the Blackheath Lodge are perfect in every way. Round-the-clock service, excellent restaurant recommendations and a quiet neighborhood perfectly situated. The added surprise was that this inn isa short walk away from a trailhead to Signal Hill and Lion's Head. My hike up Lion's Head was...

If you are looking for a very nice place to stay i Cape Town, you should really consider Blackheath Lodge. We stayed there for a week, used it as our base to discover Cape Town and the surroundings. Situated near beach and Waterfront, well kept, good rooms and beds. Excellent service, nothing is impossible. Quiet and safe area.

Antony and Jean-Claude were amazingly gracious hosts that welcomed us and helped us find all the things we were hoping to do. The kitchen staff were polite and made delicious breakfasts. There was a darling...

Hosts and staff are great and always willing to help or offer advice. The Lodge is just a few blocks from the water and a beautiful walk along the seawall. As well, the location is convenient to...

Blackheath provides a home away from home. Comfortable spacious rooms and delicious breakfast every morning. The owners are delightful with great recommendations and always willing to help. However what made convinced me this is the place to stay is the fact they take care of the people who work for them. The donations to their fund are used to place...

Blackheath Lodge is the gem of Capetown! It is perfectly positioned in a quiet street in Seapoint around 5 minutes by taxi (which they book for you) from the V&A waterfront. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, well appointed and beautifully furnished. The bed was comfy, the pillows soft and the room very private with its own big ensuite. We were...
