After 24 hours travel from India, I finally arrived Cape Town at 9pm and all I wanted is to go to my hotel and have a proper sleep. I searched for the cab which was supposed to come from the backpackers but nobody showed up (it was pre-booked via email and I was assured that somebody will be waiting for...

The hostel was clean, in a great location and he staff were helpful in ringing Blue Mountain to help us arrange day activities. We had a private room which we could not fault for the price. This is recommended for couples who are travelling. Good communal facilities.

My boyfriend and I stayed there for 10 nights. We were really looking for a safe place to sleep and from our expectations we were satisfied with what we got. The only problem we had was the loud noise outside but because we were desperate for an affordable place to sleep we did not mind it. Otherwise, the receptionist was...

It was probably one of the dodgiest backbackers I've been to in South Africa. The only reason I stayed was because the reception guy was pretty cool. Doors didn't lock well, communal showers weren't clean and music was playing loud from across the street.

Found this place via Google and they are quite responsive on email enquiries. I know backpackers are not the quietest place but didn't anticipate te noise level on this one. Not their fault just location, there's hectic bars close by. They supply free ear plugs. Suppose it's near bars has it's advantages, party hard and crawl to your accommodation venue....

We got robbed in the hostel from the cleaners; we have checked the footage and we have seen the cleaners entering our room without our permission and staying there for a while and even without their cleaning tools. No one did anything concerning that matter even the owner didn't care to show up and appreciate us. Certainly never coming here...

Stayed here for a week, price is fair, safety as well every thing you need if you are traveling with little means. Will definitely go there next year. A few shops along the road, and if you are like me and enjoy having a nice full breakfast in the morning, there is a good place 20 meters away.
