I've being staying at hostels for over 10 years and Long Street Backpackers is the coolest place I've ever visited. The atmosphere the staff (Lee, Marius, Emma, & Mike) provide to everyone is unlike anywhere else! From the moment I checked in all I saw was friendly faces and people having a good time. The bar, the bar, the bar...

LSB was awesome! Right on the heart of Long Street and close to everything in Cape Town, it was an adventure in itself. Great staff, awesome prices, wonderful people, as well as safe and welcoming. I know that I'll be coming back to Cape Town sometime in my life, and Long Street Backpackers will be where I stay. Thanks for...

The hostel is super cute with its plants everywhere and different levels, nice common area and balconys. But if you want to sleep, don't book this hostel. Yes it is on long Street so it's loud in general. But I stayed a long time there and every (!!!) night there was a big party next to my room at the...

If you are looking for a great backpacking hostel, this is the one. Staff is great, both in terms of helping with planning any activities or trips and hanging out with the guests and having a good time. The location is right in the heart of long street, surrounded by bars and restaurants central to night life. Guests were from...

We were only in Cape Town for three days, and LSB was the perfect place to stay. Right in the middle of long street, but also very possible to escape that part of town. The staff at LSB is incredibly welcoming and helpful, and tours booked through reception are not marked up. Definitely a party hostel, but also a wonderful...

Long Street Backpackers prides itself on being a party venue in the centre of Long Street. they have beer pong and games set up and people will come for that reason. The staff are very helpful and were happy to organise tours for my friends and I and even for friends who were staying at a different location. Good value...

Great location for somewhere to crash after a big night on Long street! Wouldn't stay there if you are looking to be productive in the mornings and explore what Cape Town has to offer. Hostel isn't linked up to Hostel World although on the website so you will pay an unnecessary deposit. Also they charge R20 a day for wifi...

Had the best time in LSB, Great staff and all good spots within reach. i enjoyed my short stay in the Cape. The place is really safe with codes to get in, keys to the dorms and lockers/safe. With it being in the middle of Long Street, bars and restaurants are just outside the door
