Everyone was very helpful to us during out stay. The room was wonderful; the breakfasts were really great; and the location was perfect. Our room had a view of Table Mountain and the amenities were superb. We enjoyed the books in the lounge area.

Many thanks to Benson and Alex for their excellent care. They accommodated every request, arranging dinner reservations and pre-breakfast snacks. The hotel itself is beautiful - the rooms were spotless and comfortable and the bathrooms somehow managed to be quaint and modern at the same time - something to do with the claw-foot bathtubs I think., It is located just...

If you are looking for a place to stay in Cape Town, Welgelegen is the perfect choice. It's a charming boutique hotel with very nice cozy rooms. It's in a great location right on the foot of Table Mountain. Great food places to choose from are within walking distance along Kloof Street. Above all, the whole Welgelegen team were beyond...

I would like to thank Karen and her team for making us feel welcome and accommodating whatever we needed during our stay. Excellent recommendations for eating out and the cooked breakfast we had was delicious. We had to buy some of that signature scent Welgelegen place in the rooms to bring back home, definitely will come back.

We stayed three nights at the Welgelegen. We enjoyed every minute. The hotel is very nicely decorated, the breakfast is great (try the mushrooms omelet), we had a good sleep and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We will go back for sure.

The Welgelegen is a great place to stay in central Cape Town. The rooms are beautiful, the location central but quiet, and the staff could not be more helpful. The area the hotel is in has several outstanding restaurants that you can walk to. All the suggestions that they made to us for dining were great. We would definitely stay...

My husband and I recently spent 5 nights at Welgelegen, kicking off our 3 week trip to Africa. Rooms are well appointed with all the amenities you would expect in a 5 star hotel. The staff are absolutely lovely and always wanting to assist you where possible. Breakfast runs from a very reasonable time of 7am to 11am - all...

Enjoy and relax this wonderful guesthouse in Garden district in Cape Town . The moment I arrived I got the feeling from the Karen Blixen novel and the movie "Out of Africa". The rooms, the furniture, the art, the music. I enjoyed, and so did my family . Very hospitable hosts, the same kindness from the staff. I hope to...
