I was in dire need of accommodation in Cape Town and the owners not only made a plan but also assisted with additional requirements and accommodation. Great service and friendly. The owners also assisted with friendly advice about the surrounding area

Very clean, central to a lot of places that the city has to offer but it is noisy at night. Rooms are clean, staff are very friendly & helpful & all the amenities are available for self catering. I would recommend this establishment for people visiting the city as the neighborhood is central, shops close by with restaurants just around...

The lodge is really well situated from a 'get to everything' perspective - you can walk to the city centre and the waterfront, and there are many great restaurants and bars right nearby. There is a downside to this though - our room had no aircon and got quite hot, so we had to leave the windows open - the...

Have stayed here many times over the past year when in Cape Town for business. Nice clean accommodation, good location and friendly staff. They only serve a continental breakfast but if you need anything more there are a few places in the area you can visit.

The lodge is situated in a great area in Cape Town, transfers from the airport extra costs, we had a room for 4 nights without a view, but is was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was okay en plenty. Staff was friendly

Four of us stayed 5 nights at the well situated de Waterkant Lodge in late January. We occupied the top flat of two rooms together with a 3rd room on the floor below. The flat provided us with spacious accommodation which would cost a fortune if in a hotel. The flat had an outside decking terrace with oblique sea views....

Stayed at DE Waterkant Lodge and had a enjoyable experience. Place on arrival was very clear. Must say the room was not kept clean the same as first expression during my stay. Can't say Grand at reception went out his way to welkom me or show me the place. Was just told there's your room and pointed to a open...

Clean, friendly, Safe and value for money. The location is great aswell, its within walking distance from the city center and the area is well manned by security at night, which makes it perfect for solo travelers, ladies and men, the rate per night is probably the best in Cape Town and includes a basic breakfast with good filter coffee,...

Starting with positives...the staff were friendly and helpful, clean rooms and bathrooms and lots of kitchen and home amenities in the 2 apartments. Fabulous views of table mountain, port and waterfront. Breakfast was simple but ample for us (eggs, breads, muffins, cereals, juices, yoghurts). Very safe with locked doors and gates to every area. 15 min walk to waterfront (keep...

We had room 8 which has its own balcony that has views over the Cape Town harbour and waterfront - spectacular. The balcony of the breakfast room also has great views of Table Mountain. This room is part of 'apartment' that has just three rooms and together has own kitchen and shared lounge as well as a second downstairs balcony...
