Generally speaking, it is hard to find much wrong with this hotel, but I'm not sure that it was the right one for our tour group. It is a typical city hotel, probably good for businessmen and certainly family friendly (we were there for 6 nights including a holiday weekend and children were running riot thru' the restaurant, playing on...

Good: Restaurant good. Breakfast very good. Friendly staff. Nice bar area to relax. Local craft beers. Not so good: soaps not changed in room. Shower blocked. Reported but not fixed. Small things but irritating.

We stayed at the sunsquare hotel during the cape town cycle tour weekend and were warmly welcomed. The staff went out of their way to accomodate us. We felt like we stayed in a 5star hotel. The atmosphere were friendly and homely which we prefer above a cold and impersonal hotel. The pool was a blessing after the long hot...

We stayed here for our last 3 nights in South Africa and could not fault the food at all, it was superb, apart from some chicken in red wine sauce that was very salty. We were supposed to be served our food but when we got there our party was put in the back room and given a buffet service,...

Overall experience was great. It has a holiday feel even when you just want to lazy around at the hotel. Stayed for Cape Town Cycle Tour and all preparations were done for this event. Information was readily available. Enjoyed the gym

Whenever we come down for the Cape Cycle Tour, we stay here for numerous reasons. 1. It's really clean. 2. They serve breakfast really early on race day and 3. We are able to take our beloved bikes up to our room. There is more than enough space in the room to lay everything out and it's positioned 6 minutes...

We stayed here for the Cape Town Cycle Tour 2016. The hotel was very accommodating to cyclists. The hotel was clean, well maintained and located in nice part of the upper city. Easy access to all areas of Cape Town. The staff was very friendly and helping. Overall a great stay, would go back any-time. Only slight issue was the...

We were very impressed with the hotel and its staff. We have not stayed there since its upgrade and we really liked the changes. We were also impressed with the manager. He was a constant presence and didn't miss anything and he interacted with the guests. You don't usually find that at hotels. Our only change that we would like...
