We stayed 5 nights and it was wonderful! Clean, modern and very comfortable rooms. Also very quiet, and were able to get a great night's sleep each night. A beautiful house with a lovely bar area, common sitting room, etc. It was a nice and relaxing place to return to each evening. Great breakfast. Fantastic location - beautiful, more residential...

Underberg House was a lovely choice for us to spend a few days visiting our daughter in Cape Town. The room was very pleasant, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was great, with a wonderful fresh fruit salad amongst the choice available. Coffee was also good. Our daughter was invited to join us for breakfast even though she wasn't staying with us...

Great location, comfortable room, excellent breakfast and friendly hosts. What more could one wish for? All below the majestic Table Mountain. Easy driving distance to the Waterfront or the beaches. Recommended!

Bruce and his staff are unmatched in attention to detail and quality of service and making one feel at home. The beds are very comfortable, the bathrooms spacious. The breakfast is healthy with many customized options including many choices for vegetarians. The flair of the Victorian-Colonial style house was not just on the outside. We were allowed to use the...

Superb stay. Excellent accommodation and location, within easy reach of both waterfront and table mountain. Hosts, Anne and Bruce were delightful and could not have been more helpful. We recommend this Guest House without any reservations - fantastic stay. Stuart and Sue.

Recently renovated, this house is beautiful with comfortable rooms. The breakfast is good with lots of choice (fresh fruit, cereals and cooked). The hosts are exceptionally pleasant and professional, although they are only around some of the time. There is a kettle in the room, or you can sit in the shebeen and have a welcome drink.

Our home away from home in Cape Town. Restaurants around the corner to which we could easily walk. We could walk to the centre during the day. Slight uphill walk back. Breakfast was delicious. Our hosts were welcoming and helpful. Bed was super comfortable. A little street noise.

Thank you Anne & Bruce for making our seven night stay here spot on. Underberg House is relaxing and comfortable. The Persian rugs, art work and furnishings contribute to the wonderful ethos of this house. There are quality books to browse and daily newspapers are at hand. Our bed was very comfortable and we appreciated the powerful shower. Toiletries are...
