We spent five nights in Cape Town in early October, 2015. We stayed for three nights in the Dutch Manor, and could not have been more pleased. The staff was friendly and very informative. Breakfast was sumptuous. The room was beautifully appointed with period furniture and a four-poster bed. From the hotel, you could walk all over central Cape Town....

I chose to visit Capetown on my own. And I wanted to treat myself. According to my tourist guide, this place would be great. And guess what? I loved it. Simply. I enjoyed the quietness of the environment. I met some nice guests during breakfast. The staff was very helpful whenever I needed tips and suggestions for sightseeing. The hotel...

The location is quite good, very close the main streets of the old center. The rooms are tastefully decorated and provide adequate comfort. The sheets and towels are of very good quality and cleanliness is of high standard. But our room, right in front of the kitchen, was very noisy in the morning due to the breakfast preparation movement. The...

If you’re not doing the whole Camps Bay thing and what something different to the regular chain hotel experience then this is the place to you. Nice staff and lovely antique rooms with four poster beds all for a reasonable price. Good range of options with breakfast although they did serve the baked beans cold which was a bit weird!

Everything about the Inn was great: breakfast in morning delicious and very fast, the croissants were excellent; the room was comfortable, excellent bed and sheets, wonderful shower; the staff very attentive; the location great, just a couple blocks to the restaurants of Bree street.

We had a very good experience in Dutch Manor. Ideal location to explore both the centre (next door) and the waterfront (20 min walk). Proximity of buses to Table Mountain and all major attraction sites. The hotel and rooms and well decorated, well furnished and spacious so that you enjoy your time in when you feel like chilling. There are...

The room resonated with history, the furnishings were totally awesome, and I wondered at the history of everything. The bathroom was clean and comfortable, and the shower worked perfectly. Lots of storage available to unpack our suitcases for a comfortable stay, and the hotel was within walking distance of long street. We felt safe and welcome.

This was truly a magnificent stay. The beautiful and robust wooden furnishings gave the hotel such a warm and inviting feel. It was a terrific location, very close to the main attractions, as well as my favourite hang out, Kloof St. All the staff were lovely, especially Nobu, who took the time to chat with me over coffee before my...

I stayed three nights in this absolutely wonderful bed & breakfast, and if I could just move in permanently I would. The rooms are beautifully and delightfully furnished, with comfortable beds and gorgeous accessories. Climate control options are available, but who can pass up pulling open the heavy curtains, throwing open the windows, and feeling the Atlantic breezes flow through...

A beautiful interior in an historic building and excellent service. Public spaces and rooms furnished with South African antiques, including the four-poster beds. A good location and Hop-on Hop-off bus stop right across the street. Only complaint? We reserved through a booking site and requested twin beds. There aren't any, but apparently the booking site didn't know that. Hot the...
