I've been to Cape Town 3 times now but the latest visit was after a 20 year gap. So instead of my much loved but now very - very - expensive Graceful haunt down on the quayside at V&A, I gave this hotel a chance. What a delight! It's more of a museum/guesthouse than hotel and it's located on the...

The Dutch Manor is a lovely old place, furnished with antiques. The rooms have individual shapes and ad wall colours, though all beds are four-posters. Both the place itself, not far from Long Road, and the service were plainly outstanding. The (new) manager and the other staff were attentive and did anything to make my stay as comfortable as possible....

I have just returned from a stay of 10 nights at the Manor and cannot praise it high enough. I new owner and a new manager Elona have made here even better than before. Here is style and attention to guests bar non. Elona and all the staff work tirelessly to accommodate their guests and do it with such grace...

We so enjoyed our stay at the Dutch Manor, as it's small and personal with delightful rooms and bathroom in a fabulous location . The breakfast which is included is more than adequate with a choice of hit and cold food. Great value and would certainly stay again when next in Cape Town.

It's a lovely building inside but sadly we experienced poor customer service. We booked an airport cab through them to pick us up on arrival but it didn't turn up. There wasn't anyone readily available to help us book cabs etc during our stay too. It almost felt like we were intruding. I believe the hotel was under the process...

If you want to be set back in time this is the hotel to stay in. You truly feel like you are back in 1850. The hotel is small, only 5 or 6 rooms, but this makes it very personal. The location is great as well. The sightseeing bus leaves right across, and long street, with the bars and restaurants...

Location, location, location. You can walk to and from Long Street, even at night. Bo-Kap is just up the street. Hotel is old and keeps the antique style as a motto. Nice old cupboard in my room (Nr 2) but no possibility to hang a suit. Room faces the busy Buitengracht Street which means that it is very loud. Breakfast...

Very friendly, informative and professional staff. The breakfast was excellent. We celebrated my wife's 60 years birthday and the hotel made a special breakfast arrangement including flowers, pancakes and a birthday song. The room was nice and clean.

The hotel is a small boutique hotel with only 6 suites. But the comfort level from the staff is just amazing. Nothing is too much effort. Fresh roses in our room together with a very good bottle of red wine just started the weekend. Nobu Tshabalala is the General manager and her team were just great. Breakfasts to die for....

Having researched before we stayed, the hotel delivered and exceeded all of our expectations! Nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff and they will go above and beyond to make sure that your stay is perfect (even remembering our Birthdays and singing to us). A special mention for Pieter who made sure that any questions, requests etc...
