Esther and I stayed 10 nights in Romney Lodge. We really had a great. From first moment on we felt so familiar and happy. Thanks to Philipp who made this all possible. We got his help and his advice whenever needed. We loved the big patio. Lying on the sunlounger nearby the pool was so relaxing. The area is quiet...

At the start of our trip, we stayed at Romney Lodge for 4 nights. It was a great stay and recommend it for several reasons: clean & beautiful decorated rooms with high ceilings, good breakfast, excellent service of Philip & Eunice who made us feel welcome and gave sightseeing tips, enjoyed the funny three little dogs. The owner and Philip and Eunice (who I...

The location and the individaually decorated rooms with Victorian details have all been praised in previous reviews and I do agree. However, Romney Lodge's best asset are the hosts Phil and Eunice. Their attention and personal tips for everything from restaurants to where to buy the best spices beat every guide book. And the adoring dachshunds made the stay even...
