The staff were very friendly, helped us a lot! The breakfast is good, the room was nice. I felt myself at home. The location is perfect. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay, I'd recommend this place for everyone.

I have been to Cape Town several times before, but my stay with Atforest helped make it the most special and memorable yet. A better location would be hard to find as we stayed in a leafy suburb under Table Mountain with the most fantastic views! We were received by our host, Pat who is the friendliest, charming lady who...

There is a lot I can say about this place. The best thing is Jeanette the manager. What a wonderful, friendly, kind, sweet lady - willing to go out of her way to help you in any way she can. The worst thing, is don't dare ask the owner Pat anything that she isn't happy to hear, or you will...

As the owner of Atforest, before I submit my wife's reply, let me state the following re this review from a budding young writer from Croydon who found a willing publisher in Tripadvisor who permitted a personal attack on my wife in a number of libelous statements, eg. comparing her to a Rothweiler. First of all, thank you for admitting...

A very comfortable guest house in central Cape Town. Janine was very welcoming when we arrived and arranged to store our bags while we did an overnight trail on the Cape of Good Hope. Breakfast was very nice and it was good to be able to make tea/coffee whenever we wanted.

If you want freshly gathered honey and home made olives from the host's farm, this is the place for you. Atforest is in a great location with a stunning view of Table Mountain. Piet provided us with an excellent breakfast and the rooms were comfy. There is limited enclosed parking and Piet made sure we had room for our van...

The service here was excellent and we were made to feel very much at home by our hosts. The breakfasts were very good with everything you could want. Our room was clean and the bed comfortable. The Atforest Guest House is in a great location especially for Table Mountain which was the main purpose of our visit. The best part...

We recently had 4 nights in the Atforest Guest House at the foot of Table Mountain in Cape Town and forgot to write our comments in the guest book. However if we had done so our remarks would have simply echoed those of previous guests who wrote that this is a wonderful b & b where we were all made...

We stayed regularly in this B&B, for the last three years. Main reason: it splendid location, near by CBD and Labia movies, with good restaurants in a very alive area by evenings. Price was also affordable. A recent hike of prices (+ > 20 %!) makes the place now out of the good ratio quality/price it was previously offering. Rooms...

This reviewer went to this same guest house for three years about three times a year before he decided to tell the public how bad it is. The reason: although he accepted the quote, he refused to pay his bill as it was 'too expensive' As I would not budge and insisted he pay the price quoted, he started fabricating...
