We booked the Clifton Room at the Camps Bay Resort for one night. The large room is located on the top floor (with a lovely view) and the only access is via a narrow steel spiral staircase - people with mobility issues will find this access rather challenging. I was not aware that I could have booked a breakfast, for...

Booked as a hotel which it is not. Very small dirty room. No where to put clothes apart from an old tea trolley. Towels and bedding changed every four days if you are lucky. Pool freezing , sometimes green. Breakfast only a small value voucher given , you have to pay the rest. No outside line from the room. No...

First things first: You cannot beat the location of the resort, Brighton Court in particular. We stayed in 12 Brighton Court. I actually rented it through airbnb. The apartment was quite nice with three bedrooms (one is a loft space that my 11 and 9 year old LOVED), one bath and plenty of hanging out space. It's on the second...

Not sure where to start but here goes. The positive - location good. The negatives include apartments in poor order (we stayed in Brighton court) within which fittings (taps / ceiling fans) were loose, electrical wiring exposed, floor fittings with screws protruding & bathroom in desperate need of re-furb. No smoke alarm. Staff unhelpful on arrival. Wifi in reception only....

I don't reccomend staying here at all. Unless you want your safety and security jeopardized, steer clear of Camps Bay Resort. During our stay, my colleagues, staying in a total of 6 different rooms, all had their privacy and security violated when we returned at the end of a long eventful day to discover that all rooms had been the...

We were back again this year for the eighth time, staying for 4 nights out and 5 nights back at 19 Brighton Court. Superb view of the ocean, and a comfortable apartment. Although the staff had mostly changed, they were extremely helpful as always. We should have had shares? We should have bought an apartment here back when we first...

Our apartment was very comfortable with a lovely big comfortable bed. Apartment had everything we needed and all items in pristine condition. The best part of our stay was the staff - nothing was too much trouble. It was our first visit and we were made to feel very welcome. Highly recommend.

Very nice & self sufficient apartments right at the edge of the Camps Bay Beach. There are many restaurants & bars including an Indian Restaurant (Raj) within walking distance. Neighborhood is safe. Request for rooms facing the beach. They have a fantastic view. especially the right hand side corner rooms.

Stayed in apartment in Camps Bay village resort . Apartment was self catering and perfect for our needs. Very close to supermarket, lots of restaurants and the beach. Staff at Camps Bay were friendly and helpful . The apartment was basic but very clean, well equipped little kitchen for making breakfast or whatever meals. Great location for start of a...

First visit to S Africa. Camps Bay is a great place to base a visit on to access Cape Town and all it's attractions. Stunning views of Table Top mountain, and fantastic sunsets. Tip-use the hop-on-off sightseeing bus to get your bearings, do a whole circuit, and on the second hop in off.
