Waking up with a view of Camps Bay through one window and Table Mountain through another ....it doesn't get much better than that (ask for room 335!). We did have an issue with Ilios Travel who Trailfinders used to book our Table Mountain and downtown Cape Town tour and we ended up cancelling it. Hayden, on the reception desk, was...

I cannot rate this hotel highly enough. The staff, the atmosphere, the design, the attention to detail ( eg plugs sockets to cover every nationalities needs)....... the cocktails!!!!! I could go on and on. The delight of starting ones day in the glass walled breakfast area, overlooking the beach would have to be considered quite breathtakingly beautiful.. On a slight...

Our family stayed her for 3 nights and it was very busy but we loved our stay here and thought the hotel was very modern and it was right across the street from a very beautiful section of beach and it was with in walking distance to many nice restaurants that were on the same street as the hotel. Nice rooms, good views, right across the street from the beach. Views of the ocean and mountains. There are other restaurants and bars within walking distance if you so choose. The hotel bar was cozy and offered a great view. The pool and area was very nice. Secure parking in front of the hotel. The breakfast at the hotel restaurant...

Spent 4 nights in mid September in the Bay Hotel and had a lovely stay. Although we did not have a sea view, we none the less had a spectacular view of the Twelve Apostle Mountains. Everyone at the hotel from porters, housekeeping, Armen, breakfast staff and front of house were just lovely. Would thoroughly recommned the hotel and the...

Recently visited South Africa and one of the highlights was our stay was at the Bay Hotel in Camps Bay. Fabulous location with views over the ocean and within easy walking distance to the restaurants along the promenade. We stayed in one of the Cabanas which felt very private with our own deck area and access to one of the...

The Bay Hotel really scores on location , and had a sea view room with an exquisite view. I am sure this is one of the coolest hangouts around the pool for sundowners and cocktails , and the beach club is super busy. The accommodation needs serious facelift , though. The room was spacious , and super comfortable bed ,...

If its not the ocean you are staring at then it will probably be all the people walking by. The Bay hotel has lovely pools which allow you to enjoy the scenery without really being part of it or at least without being disturbed. The rooms have lovely jacuzzis on the balcony which make waking up all that more enticing....

Rude staff, extremely long and laborious check in process-arrived at 13.50 and were not allowed to check in until 14.20 despite the hotel not being full, were given a free non alcoholic drink whilst we waited but this was in the hope we would stay there and order lunch. Got to rooms by 3pm. Rooms were dated, in need of...
