The Lodge is conveniently situated right next to the N1 just before Beaufort West - bear in mind the noise of passing trucks if you're a light sleeper. The room we booked appeared larger on the website than it actually was. That said, the beds were comfortable, linen, towels & room were clean. The aircon worked and shower had hot...

We had read various reviews on trip advisor on how "dissapointed" many visitors found this place. However I'm pleased to report that there was no dissapointing moment for us. After a long days drive from JHB we were greeted with a smile and all the staff were very helpful. I think most of their renovations are done and this place...

A definite must to break the monotony of a long drive, making the destination a lot more pleasurable to explore on arrival. Rooms comfortable and a giveaway at the prices compared to other accommodations serving the same market.

The place is a motel that services folks stopping off on long N1 road trips. The services are basic, as are the rooms. Main problem for our stay was that the bin in the room was full of rubbish on arrival, plus there was poo still smeared on the inside of the toilet bowl. We ordered a twin room and...

Dear Lauretta Thank you for your mail regarding your stay at Wagon Wheel Country Lodge, I really can't understand how if you booked a Deluxe Room on the live booking system that you ended up with a Standard Room, we have nothing to do with what room you are allocated, the live booking system books the room that you choose....
